Product Operation Interface Overview
Figure 3: Product Operation Interface Overview

This image provides an overview of the module's LCD display, showing various parameters: Current (A), Power (W), Capacity (Ah), Energy (Wh), Percentage (%), Runtime (h), and Temperature (°C). It explains that briefly pressing the SET button cycles through these displays on the lower screen.

Button Functions:

  • SET Button (Short Press): Cycles through display parameters on the lower screen (Power, Capacity, Energy, Battery Level, Runtime, Temperature).
  • SET Button (Long Press): Enters system parameter settings.
  • UP Button: Used to increase values or navigate up in settings.
  • DOWN Button: Used to decrease values or navigate down in settings.
  • STOP Button: Used to stop or pause operations.

Charge and Discharge Management:

Battery Charge and Discharge Logic Flow
Figure 4: Battery Charge and Discharge Logic Flow

This diagram illustrates the conditions for switching between Charge Mode and Discharge Mode. For Charge Mode completion and transition to Discharge Mode, any of these conditions must be met: battery voltage > overvoltage protection threshold, battery capacity is full, charging current < minimum current threshold (LAP), or charge time > time threshold (OHP). For Discharge Mode completion and transition to Charge Mode, any of these conditions must be met: battery voltage < undervoltage protection threshold, battery capacity < low power protection, discharge current < minimum current threshold (LAP), or discharge time > time threshold (OHP). LAP, OHP, and LBP can be turned on or off automatically.

5. Maintenance

The XY-BT13L module is designed for durability and requires minimal maintenance. To ensure optimal performance and longevity:

  • Keep the module clean and free from dust and moisture.
  • Avoid exposing the module to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
  • Regularly check all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear.
  • Do not attempt to open the module casing, as this may void any potential warranty and expose sensitive components.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your XY-BT13L module, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Display/Power: Check power connections and ensure the input voltage is within the 10-110V DC range.
  • Incorrect Readings: Verify all wiring is correct, especially current sensing connections. Ensure the battery capacity has been calibrated if necessary.
  • Module Not Responding: Disconnect power, wait a few seconds, and reconnect. If the issue persists, check for any visible damage to the board.
  • Unexpected Charging/Discharging Behavior: Review the charge/discharge parameters set in the system settings (long-press SET button) to ensure they match your requirements.

For more detailed troubleshooting or technical support, please refer to the official user manual PDF or contact the manufacturer.

7. User Tips

  • Initial Calibration: For the most accurate capacity readings, perform an initial calibration of your battery with the module.
  • Parameter Customization: Take advantage of the system parameter settings (accessed by long-pressing the SET button) to customize overvoltage, undervoltage, and current thresholds to perfectly match your battery type and application.
  • Remote Monitoring: If using the optional WiFi module, ensure a stable network connection for reliable remote control and data monitoring.
