2. Safety Warnings

  • Age Restriction: Not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts and potential choking hazards. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
  • Adult Supervision: Always operate under adult supervision, especially with younger children.
  • Battery Safety: Use only specified batteries. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Ensure correct polarity. Remove batteries from the remote control when not in use for extended periods.
  • Moving Parts: Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing away from moving parts (tracks, arm, bucket) to prevent injury.
  • Environmental Use: Avoid operating in water, mud, or excessively dusty environments to prevent damage to electronic components. While designed for various terrains, extreme conditions can impact longevity.
  • Impact Avoidance: Do not intentionally crash the excavator or drop it from heights, as this can damage the internal mechanisms and external structure.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: After use, especially in dirty environments, gently wipe the excavator with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or immerse the vehicle in water.
  • Storage: Store the excavator and remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: Always remove batteries from the remote control if the product will not be used for an extended period. For the excavator's lithium battery, ensure it is charged periodically if stored for a long time to maintain battery health.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Excavator not responding to remote control:
    • Check if both the excavator and remote control are powered on.
    • Ensure batteries in both devices are correctly installed and fully charged/fresh.
    • Re-attempt the pairing process (power off both, then power on excavator first, then remote).
  • Short operating time:
    • Ensure the excavator's lithium battery is fully charged before each use.
    • Operating in demanding conditions (e.g., heavy digging, rough terrain) can reduce battery life.
  • Interference during operation:
    • Although the 2.4G system is designed for anti-interference, try to operate away from other strong wireless signals or multiple RC devices if issues persist.

9. User Tips

  • Practice Makes Perfect: For complex digging and maneuvering, practice each arm movement individually before attempting to combine them for intricate actions.
  • Optimal Performance: Always ensure the excavator's battery is fully charged for the best performance and longest play duration.
  • Terrain Awareness: While capable on various terrains, avoid prolonged exposure to very fine dust or deep water to protect the internal mechanisms and electronics.
