- Power Supply: Always use the original 12V/1A power adapter provided with the device.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your encoder, try the following steps:
- No Power: Check if the power adapter is securely connected to both the encoder and the power outlet. Verify the power outlet is functional.
- No Video Output: Ensure the HDMI source is active and connected correctly to the HDMI IN port. Check the HDMI cable for damage. If using HDMI OUT, ensure the display is on and set to the correct input.
- No Network Connection: Verify the Ethernet cable is securely connected to both the encoder's NET port and the network device. Check network settings on the web interface.
- Cannot Access Web Interface: Confirm the encoder is powered on and connected to the network. Ensure your computer is on the same network segment. Try pinging the encoder's IP address. Resetting the device (using the RST button) might restore default network settings.
- Streaming Issues: Check your network bandwidth and stability. Verify streaming protocol settings and destination server configurations in the web interface.
