Diagram illustrating the display and relay states for Charging Mode, Discharge Mode, and UPS Uninterruptible Power Supply Mode.
Figure 2: Operating Mode Descriptions

6.1 Charging Mode

  • When the module enters the charging state, the charging relay is activated.
  • If the charging circuit is closed, the charging icon on the display will flash, indicating the battery's capacity.
  • The display dynamically shows the charging status.
  • Force switch to discharge mode: Briefly press the SET button.
  • Force switch to charging mode: Long press the STOP button.

6.2 Discharge Mode

  • When the module enters the discharge state, the discharge relay is activated.
  • If the discharging circuit is closed, the discharge icon on the display will flash, and the battery capacity will be shown.
  • The display dynamically shows the discharge status.
  • Force switch to charging mode: Briefly press the SET button.
  • Force switch to discharge mode: Long press the STOP button.

6.3 UPS Uninterruptible Power Supply Mode

  • In UPS mode, both the charging relay and discharging relay operate simultaneously.
  • When power is supplied, the module will route power to the battery and simultaneously supply power to the load.
  • When the battery is fully charged, it will continue to be charged, but the electrical relay will not disconnect.
  • If the charger is powered off, the battery will automatically supply power to the load until the battery is exhausted.
  • When the charger is powered on again, it will automatically charge the battery and supply power to the load.
  • Important Note: In UPS mode, the output power of the charger must be greater than the combined power required for charging the battery and powering the load.
  • The simultaneous flashing of both charging and discharging icons indicates that the module is operating in UPS mode.
  • Current Description in UPS Mode:
    • When the charger charges the battery and supplies power to the load, the displayed current represents the charging current for the battery.
    • If the charger is disconnected or malfunctions, the charging icon will rapidly flash to indicate a charging issue.
    • If an electrical appliance malfunctions, the battery will automatically supply power to the load, and the displayed current will represent the discharge current.
  • How to turn on/off UPS mode: Long press the SET button to enter the settings menu. If the 'FUC' parameter is set to 'UPS', UPS mode is activated. Set it to any other value to turn off UPS mode.
  • Emergency Stop: Briefly press the STOP button for an emergency stop.

7. Maintenance

  • Keep the module clean and free from dust and moisture.
  • Ensure proper ventilation around the module to prevent overheating.
  • Regularly check all wiring connections for tightness and signs of wear or corrosion.
