1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Hopestar A65 Outdoor Portable Subwoofer Wireless Speaker. This manual provides essential information for setting up, operating, and maintaining your speaker. Please read it thoroughly before use to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your device.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the speaker's charging port and a compatible power adapter (5V/9V/12V/15V/20V---2.2A). The battery charging time is approximately 1-3 hours. A full charge provides an estimated 6-10 hours of playing time.

3.2 Powering On/Off

Press and hold the power button located on the top panel of the speaker to turn it on or off.

3.3 Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Turn on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED light.
  2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.).
  3. Search for "Hopestar A65" in the list of available Bluetooth devices.
  4. Select "Hopestar A65" to connect. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the LED light will stop flashing.

3.4 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Function

The TWS function allows you to connect two Hopestar A65 speakers together for a stereo sound experience.

  1. Ensure both A65 speakers are powered on and not connected to any Bluetooth device.
  2. On one speaker (this will be the primary speaker), press the TWS button (often indicated by an infinity symbol or two interlocking circles).
  3. The speakers will search for each other and automatically pair. You will hear a confirmation tone once connected.
  4. Connect your mobile device to the primary speaker via Bluetooth as described in section 3.3. Both speakers will now play audio in stereo.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Controls

The speaker features intuitive controls on its top panel:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to power on/off.
  • Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause audio.
  • Volume Up/Next Track: Press briefly to increase volume. Press and hold to skip to the next track.
  • Volume Down/Previous Track: Press briefly to decrease volume. Press and hold to go to the previous track.
  • Mode Button (M): Press to switch between playback modes (Bluetooth, U-disk, TF card, AUX).
  • Light Mode Button: Press to cycle through different RGB LED light effects.

4.2 Playback Modes

  • Bluetooth Mode: After successful pairing, audio will stream wirelessly from your connected device.
  • U-disk/TF Card Mode: Insert a USB flash drive or TF (microSD) card into the respective port. The speaker will automatically switch to the corresponding mode and begin playing supported audio files (MP3, WAV, WMA, FLAC, APE).
  • AUX Mode: Connect an external audio device using the 3.5mm audio line. The speaker will switch to AUX mode, and audio will play from the connected device.

4.3 Using the Microphone

The Hopestar A65 comes with a wireless microphone for karaoke or speech functions. Simply turn on the microphone, and it will automatically connect to the speaker. Adjust the microphone volume using the controls on the microphone itself or the speaker's master volume.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or other chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface. For the mesh grille, a soft brush can be used to remove dust.

5.2 Storage

Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to about 50% every few months to prolong its lifespan.

5.3 Water Resistance

The speaker has an IPX6 waterproof rating, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets from any direction. It is suitable for outdoor use and can withstand splashes or rain. However, it should not be submerged in water.
