4. Setup and Installation
Follow these steps to properly install your motherboard and components:
4.1 Component Overview

4.2 CPU Installation
- Carefully open the CPU socket retention arm.
- Align the Intel Xeon E5 2680 V4 CPU with the LGA 2011-3 socket, ensuring the triangular markers on the CPU and socket match.
- Gently place the CPU into the socket without forcing it.
- Close the retention arm to secure the CPU.
Refer to the product assembly video for a visual guide on CPU installation.
4.3 RAM Installation
The motherboard supports four-channel DDR4 memory. For optimal performance, follow the recommended slot configuration:
- For 2 RAM modules: Insert them into the outermost black slots on the left and right sides respectively.
- For 4 RAM modules: Insert them into the outermost black slots on the left and right, and the adjacent black slots.

Ensure the memory modules are fully seated until the clips snap into place. Refer to the product assembly video for a visual guide.
4.4 CPU Cooler Installation
- Apply thermal paste to the top of the CPU (if not pre-applied on the cooler).
- Mount the CPU cooler onto the LGA 2011 heat sink bracket, ensuring it is securely fastened.
- Connect the CPU fan cable to the "CPU FAN" header on the motherboard.
Refer to the product assembly video for a visual guide.
4.5 Power Connections
- Connect the 24-pin ATX main power connector from your power supply to the corresponding slot on the motherboard.
- Connect the 8-pin +12V CPU power connector to the 8PIN DC slot near the CPU socket.
- Connect any additional power connectors for PCIe devices or fans as needed.
4.6 Storage Device Installation
- M.2 SSD: Insert your NVMe or SATA M.2 SSD into one of the two M.2 slots. Secure it with the provided screw. The motherboard supports high-speed NVMe PCIe 3.0 X4.
- SATA Drives: Connect SATA data cables from your SATA hard drives or SSDs to the SATA 2.0 or SATA 3.0 ports on the motherboard. Connect SATA power cables from your power supply to the drives.

4.7 PCIe Expansion Cards
Insert any graphics cards or other PCIe expansion cards into the available PCIe x16, x4, or x1 slots. Ensure they are firmly seated and secured with the case's retention mechanism.
4.8 Front Panel and USB Connections
Connect your case's front panel headers (power button, reset button, HDD LED, power LED, front USB ports, front audio) to the corresponding pins on the motherboard as indicated in Figure 4.
The motherboard features a diagnostic card for quick fault finding during startup.
5. Operating Instructions
Once all components are installed and connected, you can power on your system:
- Ensure all power cables are securely connected to the motherboard and components.
- Connect your monitor, keyboard, and mouse to the appropriate ports on the rear I/O panel.
- Press the power button on your computer case.
- The system should initiate the boot process. Observe the diagnostic card for any error codes during startup.
- Install your preferred operating system (e.g., Windows, Linux) from a bootable USB drive or optical media.

The motherboard includes one-click on/off and one-click restart buttons for convenience during testing or system configuration.
5.1 Product Assembly and Testing Video
This video demonstrates the assembly process of the motherboard with CPU and RAM, initial power-on testing, and the final packaging of the product.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your motherboard, consider the following maintenance tips:
- Dust Removal: Regularly clean dust from the motherboard and components using compressed air or a soft brush. Dust accumulation can lead to overheating.
- Cable Management: Ensure cables are neatly organized to improve airflow within the PC case.
- BIOS/UEFI Updates: Periodically check the manufacturer's website for BIOS/UEFI updates to improve stability and compatibility.
- Component Checks: Ensure all components (CPU, RAM, expansion cards) are securely seated.
Note: The motherboard's CMOS battery is typically removed before shipment due to logistics regulations. You may need to install a new CR2032 battery upon receipt if not included, to maintain BIOS settings.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues, refer to these common troubleshooting steps:
- No Power/No Boot:
- Verify all power connections (24-pin ATX, 8-pin CPU) are firmly seated.
- Ensure your power supply unit (PSU) is sufficient. A minimum of 500W brand power supply is recommended for this platform.
- Check the diagnostic card on the motherboard for error codes. These codes can help identify the specific component causing the issue.
- Memory Issues:
- Ensure RAM modules are correctly installed in the recommended slots (refer to Figure 6).
- Try reseating the RAM modules.
- Test with one RAM module at a time to identify a faulty stick.
- Use international brand memory (e.g., Samsung, Kingston, Sandee, Micron, Hynix) for best compatibility. Other brands may not be compatible.
- Display Issues:
- Ensure your graphics card is properly seated in its PCIe slot and has adequate power.
- Verify your monitor cable is securely connected to the graphics card and monitor.
- System Instability/Crashes:
- Check CPU and GPU temperatures. Ensure cooling solutions are properly installed and functioning.
- Update drivers for your motherboard, graphics card, and other components.
- Run memory diagnostic tools to check for RAM errors.
8. User Tips
- TPM 2.0 for Windows 11: Users have inquired about TPM 2.0 compatibility for Windows 11. While the motherboard itself may not have an onboard TPM module, many LGA 2011-3 platforms support an add-in TPM 2.0 module via a dedicated header. Please check your motherboard for a TPM header and consult the BIOS settings for TPM activation if you plan to install Windows 11.
9. Warranty and Support
