4. Product Components
The package includes the following items:

5. Installation
5.1 Physical Installation
- Mounting the DVR: Fix the 4G mirror GPS DVR on the car rearview mirror using the provided belt.
- Inserting TF Card: Shut off the 4G mirror DVR. Insert a high-speed TF card (Class 10 or above, minimum 2GB, maximum 64GB) into the TF card slot.
- Connecting Power:
- If the car DVR has a built-in battery, plug the car charger into the cigar lighter to power the device.
- If the car DVR does not have a battery, connect the power cable to the car battery ACC and B+:
- The Red wire connects to ACC (12V after car power on).
- The Yellow wire connects to 12V (B+) which does not require car power on.
- The Black wire connects to GND.
- Connecting Power Extension Cable: Connect the DVR USB port with the power extension cable along the edge and frame of the windshield.
- Rear Camera Installation: If the device includes a rear camera, install it in the rear part of the car, ensuring the appropriate direction and angle. The charging cable should be fixed and laid along the vehicle roof. After installation, insert one end connector of the cable into the DVR rear camera interface.
- Adjust Camera Angle: Adjust the camera angle to ensure it is facing the correct view.



5.2 Initial Setup
Turn on the 4G mirror DVR and check if the device is installed correctly. If installed correctly, the indicator light will be on, and the device will automatically enter recording status with the recording indicator light blinking.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Power Key Functions
- On/Off: Long press the power key for 3 seconds to turn the device on or off.
- Turn off Background Light (Sleep Mode): Short press the power key while the device is on to enter sleep mode. Date and time information will remain on the screen. Short press again to turn off the screen completely. Short press a third time to wake up the display.
6.2 DVR Functions
From the main screen, click the 'DVR' icon to enter the DVR main screen. Here you can control video recording, take photos, record voice, lock files, and adjust ADAS settings.

- Video Recording: Click the video recording icon to start or stop recording.
- Photo Capture: Click the photo icon to take pictures, provided a TF card is inserted.
- ADAS Function: Click the ADAS icon to turn on/off ADAS. Long press to enter ADAS calibration mode.
- Voice Recording: Click the microphone icon to enable or disable voice recording during video capture.
- Locking Video Files: Click the lock icon to protect the current video file from being overwritten during loop recording.
- DVR Settings: Click the settings icon to access video recorder settings. (Note: Settings cannot be changed during active recording.)
- Format TF Card: Option to format the inserted TF card.
- Video Quality: Front camera default 720P, rear camera default 1080P.
- Recording Time: Set video script recording time to 1, 3, or 5 minutes.
- Collision-Locking Sensitivity: Adjust G-sensor sensitivity (High, Middle, Low, Off).
- ADAS Sensitivity: Choose from High, Middle, or Low modes.

6.3 Full Screen & Reverse Camera
Click the camera switch icon to toggle between front and rear camera views. The device automatically switches to the rear camera view with parking lines when the car is in reverse gear (rear camera must be properly connected).

6.4 Music Playback
Click the 'Music' icon to enter the music interface, where you can select and play music.

6.5 Bluetooth Connectivity
Click the 'Bluetooth' icon to turn Bluetooth on/off and rename the device. Bluetooth supports connection with mobile phones for hands-free calls and music transfer.


6.6 WiFi & 4G Internet
Click the 'WiFi' icon to enter the WiFi hotspot settings. You can use a SIM card in the dash camera for 4G internet or connect to an existing WiFi network. The device can also act as a WiFi hotspot.


6.7 FM Transmitter
Click the 'FM' icon to enter the FM setting interface.
- Turn on the FM function on the 4G device and manually adjust the frequency to an unused one.
- Click 'Save' to confirm the setting.
- Turn on FM on your car audio and tune it to the same frequency set on the 4G device. The sound from the 4G device will then play through your car's audio system.

6.8 Video Playback
Click the 'Video' icon to enter the video playing list. You can replay and review recorded videos and photos. Long press a video to select multiple files for locking or deleting.

6.9 System Settings
Click the 'Settings' icon (gear icon) on the left side of the main screen to access system settings.
6.9.1 Fast Settings
This interface allows quick adjustments for wireless data, screen control, and voice control.

6.9.2 Regular Settings
This menu provides access to more detailed system configurations.
- Network & Internet: Configure WiFi, mobile network, data usage, hotspot & tethering.
- Connected Devices: Manage Bluetooth and other connected devices.
- Apps & Notifications: View, install, or uninstall applications, and manage app permissions.
- Display: Adjust screen brightness, sleep settings, and screen saver. (Note: Screen saver and sleep mode cannot work simultaneously; if both are enabled, only screen saver functions. To use sleep mode, screen saver must be off.)
- Storage: Check flash memory and TF card usage, and total memory capacity.
- System:
- Languages & Input: Select desired languages and use the virtual keyboard. For Android 8.1, drag the selected language to the top.
- Date & Time: Set date, time, time zone, and time format.
- Backup: Backup app data, WiFi passwords, and other settings. Allows automatic device restore.
- System Update: Check for and install system updates.
- Reset Options: Reset device settings.
- About Phone: View device information including system update status, battery status, IP address, WiFi MAC address, serial number, uptime, model, Android version, RAM, Baseband version, Kernel version, and Build Number.

6.10 File Management
Click the 'File' icon to enter the file management interface, where you can browse and manage folders and files.
6.11 Application List
Click the 'Applist' icon (or long press the 'Navigation' icon) to view all installed applications. You can also set the default navigation software from here.
6.12 GPS Navigation
Click the 'Navigation' icon to enter the default navigation interface. The device supports various GPS applications, including pre-installed offline maps (Sygic Maps for some regions) and Google Online Map. You can also download Waze, iGO, or Yandex GPS maps from the Google Play Store.

6.13 Mobile App (CarKeeper)
The CarKeeper app allows remote monitoring of your vehicle.
- Ensure the dash cam has a SIM card or WiFi network access.
- Search for 'CarKeeper' in Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download the app to your mobile phone.
- Log into the CarKeeper app on your mobile phone.
- On the dash cam, go to the APP list and click 'CarKeeper' to display the QR code.
- In the mobile app, click 'Bind device' and scan the QR code to successfully bind your mobile phone with the car DVR. This enables remote photo/video capture, GPS track log history, and real-time location tracking.


7. Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS)
The ADAS system helps drivers analyze the road situation and provides alerts to enhance safety.
- Lane Departure Warning Systems (LDWS): Triggers a warning if lane departure is detected based on real-time video analysis.
- Forward Collision Warning System (FCWS): Triggers a warning if a possible forward collision is detected based on real-time video analysis.
- Forward Vehicle Moving Alarm (FVMA): Alerts you when the vehicle ahead starts moving.


8. Parking Monitor
The 24-hour parking monitor feature provides continuous surveillance for your vehicle when parked.
- When any impact or collision is detected, the camera automatically turns on and starts recording for a few minutes.
- Your mobile app can also remotely monitor your car.
- To enable this function, ensure the 24-hour parking monitoring is turned on and the device is connected via the OBD buck cable (if applicable).



9. Maintenance
- TF Card Management: Regularly format your TF card to ensure optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Use a Class 10 or higher speed card.
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and device body. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Temperature: Operate the device within the specified working temperature range of -25 to 75 degrees Celsius.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the device in a cool, dry place.
10. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Turning On: If the device is unresponsive, connect the power supply and press the reset key (located on the back of the device) to restart it.
- DVR Function Abnormal: If the DVR function is not working correctly, long press the power key for 9 seconds to restart the device.
- Mobile App Connection Issues: If the mobile phone cannot bind to the car DVR, or remote monitoring is not working, check your network connection (4G or WiFi) on both the dash cam and your mobile phone.
- General Malfunction: If any severe problem is found, stop using the device and consult the warranty information or contact support.
- Physical Damage: Do not squeeze or place heavy objects on the device.
