5. Setup

Follow these steps to prepare your Bakon BK210S for use:

Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the packaging. Ensure you have the soldering iron handle, BC210 integrated heating core, Type-C charging cable, solder wire, and the solder iron holder with sponge.
Insert Heating Core: Gently insert the BC210 integrated heating core into the front end of the soldering iron handle. Ensure it is seated firmly.
Connect Power: The BK210S does not contain an internal battery and requires continuous power during operation. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the USB-C port at the rear of the soldering iron and plug the other end into a compatible 5V > 2.5A USB power source.

6. Operating Instructions

Follow these instructions for proper operation of your soldering iron:

6.1 Power On/Off and Temperature Adjustment

Power On: Connect the soldering iron to a power supply via the Type-C cable. Long press the "O" button to turn on the device. The display will show the current temperature and quickly heat up to the set temperature.
Temperature Adjustment: Use the "<" and ">" buttons to adjust the desired temperature. The temperature range is 180℃ to 450℃.
Power Off: Long press the "O" button to turn off the device.

6.2 Menu Settings

To access and adjust advanced settings:

Enter Menu Mode: In the off state, long press both the "<" and ">" keys simultaneously to enter the menu mode.
Navigate Menus: Short press the "<" or ">" key to switch between menu options F01 to F04.
Set Parameters: Once you've selected a menu (e.g., F01), long press the "O" key to enter its submenu and set the parameters.
Save Settings: After adjusting parameters in a submenu, long press the "<" and ">" keys simultaneously to save the settings and exit.

The available menu options are:

F01: Set the sleep time (10-90 seconds). If the iron is left unmoved for this duration, it will automatically enter sleep mode.
F02: Switch temperature units °C/°F.
