7. Maintenance

7.1. Cleaning

Regularly clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7.2. Storage

When not in use, store the oscilloscope in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The recommended storage conditions are -10°C to +60°C with less than 90% relative humidity. Use the provided cloth bag for protection.

7.3. Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the device frequently. If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50-70% and recharge every few months.

8. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
Device does not power onLow battery or power button not pressed correctly.Charge the device fully. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds.
No waveform displayedProbe not connected, incorrect input coupling, or signal out of range.Ensure probe is securely connected. Check AC/DC coupling. Use AUTO function or manually adjust vertical sensitivity and time base.
Unstable waveformIncorrect trigger settings.Adjust trigger level, trigger mode (Auto/Normal/Single), and trigger slope (Rising/Falling). Use AUTO function.
Signal generator output not workingIncorrect signal type or parameters selected.Verify the selected signal type (Sine, Ramp, Square) and ensure frequency, amplitude, and duty cycle (for square wave) are set correctly.
Data transmission issuesIncorrect software, cable, or PC operating system.Ensure you are using the correct software for Windows 10 or above. Check USB cable connection.

9. User Tips

  • For Beginners: The AUTO function is highly recommended for quickly obtaining a stable waveform display, especially when you are unfamiliar with manual settings.
  • Maximize Battery Life: Utilize the auto-shutdown feature (15 minutes of no operation) to conserve battery.
  • Clear Display: Adjust the backlight (8 levels available) and toggle the grid lines for optimal viewing in different lighting conditions.
  • Signal Generation: Experiment with the Sine, Ramp, and Square wave outputs to understand their characteristics and applications. Remember to adjust amplitude, frequency, and duty cycle for square waves.
  • Waveform Analysis: Make use of the 12 automatic measurement functions (Vpp, F, etc.) for quick and accurate analysis of your signals.
