3.2 Power Connection
- Connect the provided power cord to the AC power inlet on the rear panel of the oscilloscope.
- Plug the other end of the power cord into a suitable AC power outlet.
- Press the power button on the front panel to turn on the device.
3.3 Probe Connection
- Connect the oscilloscope test probe to one of the BNC input channels (CH1 or CH2) on the front panel.
- Ensure the probe is securely twisted into place.
- Set the probe attenuation switch (if present) to the desired setting (e.g., 1X or 10X) and adjust the oscilloscope's probe setting accordingly in the menu.
- For the arbitrary waveform generator (AWG) function, connect the BNC to crocodile clip test lines to the AWG output and to your circuit under test.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Oscilloscope Functions
The DSO2D15 features 2 independent channels, 150MHz bandwidth, 1GSa/s real-time sample rate, and 8M memory depth. Vertical range is 2mV/div to 10V/div with 8-bit vertical resolution.
- Channel Control: Each channel (CH1, CH2) has independent knobs for vertical position and volts/div settings.
- Horizontal Control: Use the horizontal position and sec/div knobs to adjust the time base.
- Trigger System: Supports various trigger types including Edge, Pulse width, Video, Slope, Overtime, Window, Pattern, Interval, Delay, UART, LIN, CAN, SPI, IIC.
- Measurements: Offers 32 kinds of auto measurements with statistics (maximum, minimum, standard deviation, etc.). Includes 5-bit digital voltage meter and 6-bit hardware frequency indicator.
- Data Saving: Can save data in multiple formats: setting, waveform, reference waveform, CSV, and picture.

4.2 Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG)
The DSO2D15 includes a built-in 1-channel 25MHz arbitrary waveform generator with a 200MSa/s sample rate and 12-bit vertical resolution.
- Waveform Generation: Generate standard waveforms (sine, square, ramp, pulse) and custom arbitrary waveforms.
- Frequency & Amplitude: Adjust output frequency up to 25MHz and amplitude as needed.

4.3 Advanced Features
- Protocol Analysis: Supports CAN decode and protocol analysis for RS232/UART, I2C, SPI, CAN, LIN.
- Threshold Testing: Allows for free measurements within the screen and supports threshold testing.
- FFT Analysis: Perform Fast Fourier Transform analysis for frequency domain measurements.
- Remote Control: Abundant SCPI remote command control for automation.
- External Interface: USB Host/Device for data transfer and connectivity.

5. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the oscilloscope. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild detergent can be used. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Probe Care: Handle probes carefully. Avoid bending or stressing the probe tips. Store probes properly to prevent damage.
- Ventilation: Ensure the ventilation openings on the device are not blocked to prevent overheating.
- Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the oscilloscope in a dry, dust-free environment.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check the power cord connection and the power outlet. Ensure the power button is pressed.
- No Signal Display: Verify probe connections to both the oscilloscope and the circuit under test. Check the channel input settings (e.g., AC/DC coupling, vertical scale). Ensure the trigger level is set correctly.
- Distorted Waveform: Check probe compensation. Ensure the probe attenuation setting matches the oscilloscope's setting. Verify the input signal is within the oscilloscope's voltage limits.
- AWG Output Issues: Confirm the AWG function is enabled and the correct waveform parameters are set. Check the connection of the BNC to crocodile clip test lines.
