Introduction
This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your AMNVOLT ATS SI4732 Full-Band DSP Radio Receiver. Please read this manual thoroughly before use and retain it for future reference.
The AMNVOLT ATS SI4732 is an upgraded full-band DSP radio receiver featuring an ESP32-S3 main control and SI4732 DSP chip. It supports FM, AM, SSB (LSB/USB) modes and includes advanced functions like AGC/ATT. Designed for portability and high playability, it offers a 1.9-inch IPS color screen, a built-in cavity speaker, and an independent ear amplifier circuit for enhanced audio quality.

Setup
1. Antenna Connection
The radio supports two types of antennas: a circular loop antenna and a telescopic whip antenna. Connect the desired antenna to the SMA-KE (inner hole) interface on the top of the device.

2. Charging the Device
Connect the device to a power source using a TYPE-C charging cable. Please note that fast charging is not supported.

Operating Instructions
The AMNVOLT ATS SI4732 radio is primarily operated using its rotary encoder button, which allows for easy navigation and adjustments.
Basic Operations:
- Power On/Off: (Specific instruction not provided, typically a long press of the rotary encoder).
- Volume Adjustment: Rotate the rotary encoder to adjust the listening volume. For finer control, press the encoder to enter the menu, navigate to 'Volume', and then rotate to set the desired level.
- Mode Selection: Press the rotary encoder to access the main menu. Navigate to 'Mode' to select your desired reception mode: FM, AM, LSB (Lower Sideband), or USB (Upper Sideband). The device supports full broadcasting bands.
- Frequency Tuning: Rotate the rotary encoder to tune to different frequencies. The step size can often be adjusted within the menu.
- Calibration: If necessary, access the menu and navigate to 'Calibration' to fine-tune the frequency offset for optimal reception.
- Screen Brightness Adjustment: Press the rotary encoder to enter the menu. Navigate to 'Brightness' and rotate the encoder to adjust the screen backlight intensity from 32 to 255 levels.
- Bandwidth Adjustment: The device supports bandwidth adjustment, which can be accessed through the menu to optimize reception for different signal types and conditions.
- AGC/ATT Functions: The radio features Automatic Gain Control (AGC) and Attenuator (ATT) functions to manage signal strength and prevent overload. These settings can typically be adjusted in the menu.

Maintenance
Cleaning
Keep your radio clean and dry. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the housing and screen.
Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the device is fully charged before long-term storage and periodically recharge it to maintain battery health.
Battery Care
The device features an optimized circuit to prevent significant power consumption after shutdown, reducing battery drain. Always ensure the device is properly shut down when not in use to preserve battery life.
Housing Durability
The radio's housing is made from ABS injection-molded material for enhanced sturdiness and durability compared to previous 3D-printed versions. While robust, avoid dropping the device or subjecting it to strong impacts to prevent damage.

Troubleshooting
- No Sound or Low Volume:
- Check the volume setting using the rotary encoder.
- Ensure headphones are properly plugged into the 3.5mm audio interface if you are using them. The built-in ear amplifier circuit ensures loud and clear headphone audio. - Poor Reception or Static:
- Fully extend the telescopic whip antenna or adjust the orientation of the circular loop antenna for optimal signal reception.
- Verify that the correct reception mode (FM, AM, LSB, USB) is selected for the broadcast you are trying to receive.
- Adjust the bandwidth setting in the menu to filter out interference.
- For weak signals, activate the built-in Hi-Z circuit to enhance resolution. - Device Not Powering On:
- Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. Connect the radio to a power source using the TYPE-C charging port.
- If the battery is completely depleted, it may take a few minutes of charging before the device can power on. - Screen Display Issues:
- Adjust the screen brightness setting in the menu. - Firmware Update Issues:
- Ensure the device is connected to a computer via the TYPE-C port. Refer to the official AMNVOLT website for detailed firmware update procedures and troubleshooting guides.
User Tips
- Antenna Optimization: Experiment with both the telescopic whip antenna and the rotatable loop antenna. Different antennas may offer superior performance depending on the frequency band and your listening environment. The circular antenna supports 360-degree rotation for fine-tuning reception.
- Weak Signal Reception: When attempting to receive very weak or distant signals, utilize the built-in Hi-Z circuit. This feature is designed to enhance the resolution of such signals, potentially improving clarity.
- Firmware Updates: The device features an open-source system with support for firmware updates. Regularly check the official AMNVOLT website for new firmware versions. Updates can introduce new features, improve performance, and fix bugs.
- Headphone Experience: Take advantage of the integrated headphone amplifier circuit. This ensures that audio listened through headphones is loud and clear, providing an immersive listening experience even in noisy environments.
