4.2 Wiring Connections
The micro inverter is designed for a plug-and-play AC connection. Refer to the diagrams below for wiring instructions.
- DC Input (PV Connection): Connect the DC output cables from your solar panels to the PV input connectors on the inverter. The inverter has 4 MPPT trackers, allowing for individual optimization of up to four solar panels or strings. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
- AC Output (Grid Connection): Connect the AC output cable from the inverter to a standard household electrical outlet (grid connection). The inverter typically comes with a 5M Schuko cable for this purpose.
- Signal Antenna: Attach the signal antenna to the designated port on the inverter for WiFi communication.

Note: Solar panels are not included with the inverter.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Initial Power-up
Once all connections are secure and verified, plug the AC cable into the wall socket. The inverter will perform a self-test. The indicator light on the inverter will show its status (refer to the indicator light section in Figure 4 for location). A steady green light typically indicates normal operation and power generation.
5.2 Monitoring via WiFi and App
The inverter features integrated WiFi for remote monitoring of your solar system's performance. You can use the Solarman Online Platform or the dedicated Solarman Phone App.
- Download the App: Download the 'Solarman' app from your smartphone's app store (available on Google Play and Apple App Store).
- Connect to WiFi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your inverter to your home WiFi network. This typically involves scanning a QR code on the inverter or entering its serial number.
- Monitor Performance: Once connected, the app allows you to monitor various parameters such as power monitor, power production, and data analysis in real-time.
