- F04: Temperature Compensation Setting - Adjust temperature compensation within a range of ±80℃ to fine-tune accuracy.
7. Maintenance
7.1. Cleaning the Soldering Tip
- Always clean the soldering tip before and after use to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Use the included cleaning sponge (dampened with water) to wipe off excess solder and flux residue from the tip.
- Ensure the sponge is not overly wet to avoid thermal shock to the tip.
7.2. Storage
- Allow the soldering iron to cool completely before storing.
- Place the protective hose over the soldering tip to prevent accidental damage or injury.
- Store the device in a dry, safe place away from children.
8. Troubleshooting
- Soldering Iron Not Heating: Check if the battery is correctly installed with the right polarity and has sufficient charge. Ensure the heating core is properly seated.
- Inconsistent Temperature: Verify the temperature setting and consider using the temperature compensation feature (F04) if consistent discrepancies are observed.
- Poor Solder Joints: Ensure the soldering tip is clean and properly tinned. Check that the temperature is appropriate for the solder and components being used.
- Device Not Turning On: Confirm the battery is charged and correctly installed. Try charging the device using the Type-C cable.
