3. Getting Started
3.1 Device Layout and Controls

- USB 3.0 Port (Type-C): For charging and USB tethering.
- "Confirm" Key: Used to select options on the LCD screen.
- "Scroll" Key: Used to navigate through menu options on the LCD screen.
- "Power"/LCD ON/OFF Key: Press and hold to power on/off the device; short press to turn the LCD screen on/off.
- SIM and Reset Key: Insert SIM card here. A hidden reset button is also located in this area.
- External Antenna Port (TS9): Connect optional external antennas for improved signal reception. There are two such ports.
3.2 SIM/eSIM Installation
The device supports one 4FF (Nano) UICC/USIM card. It also supports eSIM functionality.
- Locate the SIM slot on the side of the device.
- Gently insert your Nano SIM card into the push slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is oriented correctly.
- For eSIM activation, please refer to your service provider's instructions and the device's Web UI settings.
3.3 Powering On/Charging
- To power on, press and hold the "Power" key until the LCD screen illuminates.
- To charge the device, connect the provided Type-C USB cable to the USB 3.0 port on the modem and the other end to a compatible power adapter (15W or 18W PD recommended) or a computer's USB port.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Screen Display Overview

- Signal Strength/Network Mode: Indicates cellular signal strength and current network type (e.g., 5G, LTE).
- Wi-Fi Indicator & Connected Devices: Shows if Wi-Fi is active and the number of connected devices.
- New SMS Indicator: Notifies of new text messages.
- 5G Indicator: Confirms 5G network connection.
- Operator Name: Displays the name of your mobile network operator.
- Time: Current time.
- Upload/Download Speed: Real-time data transfer rates.
- Total Data Used: Cumulative data consumption.
4.2 Connecting to Wi-Fi
- Power on the Hindetel H30.
- On your Wi-Fi enabled device (laptop, smartphone, etc.), search for available Wi-Fi networks.
- Select the SSID (network name) displayed on the H30's screen.
- Enter the Wi-Fi password shown on the H30's screen when prompted.
- Your device should now be connected to the internet.

4.3 Network Settings (Web UI)
For advanced settings, access the device's Web User Interface (Web UI) via a web browser on a connected device. The default IP address and login credentials can be found in the Quick Start Guide or on the device itself.

4.4 Using External Antennas
For enhanced cellular signal reception, you can connect two external antennas to the device's TS9 connectors.
- Ensure the device is powered off.
- Locate the two external antenna ports (TS9 connectors) on the side of the device.
- Carefully connect your TS9-compatible external antennas to these ports.
- Power on the device. The external antennas should now be active.

4.5 USB Tethering
The device supports USB 3.1 for data transfer, allowing you to share its internet connection directly with a computer via the Type-C USB cable.
- Connect the Hindetel H30 to your computer using the Type-C USB cable.
- On the device's screen or Web UI, enable USB Tethering if it's not automatically activated.
- Your computer should now detect the H30 as a network adapter and gain internet access.
