5. Setup
5.1. Installation
Important: Professional electrical installation is highly recommended. Always ensure power is OFF at the circuit breaker before beginning installation.
- Prepare Wiring: Identify the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires, as well as the output wires for your lights (OUT 1, OUT 2, OUT 3, OUT 4).
- Connect Wires: Connect the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires to the corresponding terminals on the smart switch. Connect the load wires (e.g., to lights) to the OUT 1, OUT 2, OUT 3, OUT 4 terminals as required.
- Mount the Switch: Secure the smart switch into a standard 86-type wall box using the provided mounting bracket and screws.
- Restore Power: Once securely installed, restore power at the circuit breaker.

5.2. App Pairing
The F3Pro Smart Switch requires a Tuya Zigbee gateway for network connectivity and smart features.
- Download App: Download the "Smart Life" or "Tuya Smart" app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Add Gateway: Open the app and add your Tuya Zigbee gateway if you haven't already.
- Add Device: In the app, select your Zigbee gateway, then choose to add a new sub-device. Follow the on-screen instructions to put the F3Pro into pairing mode (usually by pressing and holding a button on the switch until an indicator light flashes).
- Complete Pairing: Once detected, name your device and assign it to a room.

6. Operation
6.1. Touchscreen Interface
The F3Pro features a 3.5-inch IPS touchscreen for intuitive control:
- Time and Date Display: Shows current time and date.
- Real-time Weather: Displays local weather information, updated every two hours.
- Navigation: Swipe left/right or tap icons to switch between control interfaces for switches, dimmers, curtains, and scenes.

6.2. Physical Buttons
The F3Pro includes four physical buttons for quick control, offering hybrid touch and button operation. These buttons can be configured for various functions, including direct control of lights or activation of specific scenes. They also provide offline functionality, ensuring control even if the network is down.
6.3. App Control
The Smart Life/Tuya Smart app provides comprehensive remote control and automation capabilities:
- Switch Control: Turn on/off up to four connected lights or appliances.
- Dimming Control: Adjust brightness (0-100%) and color temperature for up to four dimmable circuits (requires Zigbee-compatible LED drivers).
- Curtain Control: Open, close, pause, and set percentage positioning for up to four motorized curtains.
- Scene Management: Create, edit, and activate custom scene modes.

6.4. Radar Sensing
The integrated millimeter-wave radar provides advanced presence detection:
- Approach-to-Wake, Departure-to-Sleep: The screen automatically lights up when you approach and turns off when you move away, saving energy and providing intuitive interaction.
- Automated Actions: Use presence detection to trigger smart automations, such as turning on lights when entering a room or activating "Away Mode" when no motion is detected.

6.5. Scene Modes
The F3Pro supports 8 customizable scene modes, allowing you to link numerous smart devices for complex automations. These scenes can be executed offline, ensuring reliability.
- Morning Routine: Curtains open 30%, lights fade to 4000K warm white.
- Away Mode: Lights off, appliances standby, security system armed.

7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the screen and exterior. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Firmware Updates: Periodically check the Smart Life/Tuya Smart app for available firmware updates to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.
- Network Stability: Ensure your Zigbee gateway and Wi-Fi network are stable for consistent performance.
8. Troubleshooting
- Device Not Responding:
- Check if the power supply to the switch is active.
- Verify the Zigbee gateway is online and within range.
- Restart the switch by turning off and on the power at the circuit breaker.
- Dimming Function Not Working:
- Ensure that the connected lights use Zigbee-compatible LED drivers. The F3Pro only supports dimming for such drivers.
- Check the app settings for the dimming channels.
- Curtain Control Issues:
- Verify that the motorized curtains are properly connected and calibrated in the app.
- Ensure the curtains are Tuya Zigbee smart curtain motors for full functionality.
- Screen Not Waking Up:
- Check if the millimeter-wave radar is obstructed.
- Ensure the radar sensing feature is enabled in the device settings within the app.
- Compatibility with Ewelink: The F3Pro is designed for the Tuya Smart Platform and Zigbee 3.0. It does not natively support Ewelink.
9. User Tips
- Explore Automations: Leverage the Tuya Smart app's automation features to create complex routines based on time, weather, or sensor input (e.g., radar detection).
- Voice Control Integration: Connect your F3Pro to Alexa, Google Assistant, or SmartThings for convenient voice commands.
