Troubleshooting (FAQ)
- Q: Why is there no sound from the device?
- A: Ensure the AUX cable is plugged in and the FM transmitter is turned on if you are using FM transmission. When the FM transmitter is active, the built-in speaker is typically turned off, so no sound will come from it.
- Q: How do I sync sound via FM?
- A: On the device, open the FM TRANSMITTER function and turn it ON. Adjust your car's radio to an empty station (one without a strong broadcast signal). Then, set the car player's FM frequency to match the empty station on your car radio. The sound should now transmit through your car's speakers.
- Q: How do I synchronize sound through the AUX line?
- A: Connect one end of the provided AUX cable to the AUDI0 port (3.5mm) on the upper left corner of the device. Connect the other end to the AUX-IN port on your car. Then, select the AUX input on your car's audio system to play sound from the device.
- Q: Why doesn't the screen light up?
- A:
- Check that the power supply is correctly connected. The light on the USB port of the cigarette lighter adapter should be on, and the adapter should be securely plugged into the DC 12V power port on the unit.
- If power is confirmed, locate the reset button on the back of the device and press and hold it for 3 seconds.
- If the issue persists, it might be a software problem. Please contact customer service for assistance with potential software upgrades.
- Q: Can I use a rearview camera from my original car or another brand?
- A: No, the device is designed to work with compatible rearview cameras. Cameras from original cars or other brands may not be suitable or function correctly with this device.
- Q: How do I connect Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto?
- A: You need to enable both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your smartphone. The car player will use Bluetooth for initial pairing and then Wi-Fi for the main CarPlay/Android Auto connection. Once set up, it should automatically connect next time.
- Q: How do I connect AirPlay (iOS mirroring)?
- A: First, go to Settings > Mobile Phone Link > iOS Device (for iOS mirroring) or Wireless Connection (for AirPlay). After completing these settings, restart the car player to use the AirPlay function normally.
