5. Setup

1. Power On: The device powers on automatically when connected to a battery.
2. Connect to Battery: Attach the red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the battery and the black clamp to the negative (-) terminal. Ensure a secure connection.
3. Initial Screen: The device will display the main menu with options like Motorcycle, Car, Truck, Waveform, Charging Test, Cranking Test, Review, Print, and Setup.

6. Operating Instructions

Use the UP/DOWN arrow buttons to navigate through menu options and the 'OK' button to confirm selections. The 'ESC' button is used to go back.

6.1. Battery Test

1. From the main menu, select the appropriate vehicle type (Motorcycle, Car, or Truck).
2. Choose 'Battery Test'.
3. Select 'In-Vehicle' or 'Out-of-Vehicle' depending on the battery's location.
4. Follow any on-screen prompts, such as checking for surface charge or cycling headlights for a few seconds.
5. Select the battery type (e.g., Regular Flooded, AGM Flat Plate, GEL, Lithium).
6. Select the battery standard (e.g., CCA, JIS, EN, DIN, SAE, MCA, BCI, CA, GB).
7. Enter the battery's rated CCA or Ah value.
8. The tester will display the battery's State of Health (SOH), State of Charge (SOC), Voltage, Resistance, and the recommended action (e.g., Good, Recharge, Replace).

6.2. Cranking Test

1. From the main menu, select 'Cranking Test'.
2. The device will prompt: "Please turn off the engine before pressing OK to start test."
3. Press 'OK' and then follow the prompt to "START ENGINE".
4. The tester will analyze the cranking voltage and display results including Time, MAX/MIN Voltage, and Cranking status (e.g., Cranking Low, Cranking Normal).

6.3. Charging Test

1. From the main menu, select 'Charging Test'.
2. The device will prompt: "Please keep the engine running at idle speed."
3. The tester will display Loaded Voltage, Unloaded Voltage, Ripple, and the State of the charging system.
4. It may also prompt to "Increase RPM to 2500 r/min and keep it 10 seconds. Press ENTER to continue" for further analysis.
