3. Safety Information

4. Setup

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Making Yogurt

  1. Disinfect: Disinfect the stainless steel inner liner and ceramic cups (if using) with high-temperature hot water. Ensure they are clean and dry.
  2. Prepare Mixture: Pour 500-1000ml of pure milk into the stainless steel inner liner. Add an appropriate amount of yogurt starter (mushroom powder) and stir well. If using ceramic cups, divide the mixture among them.
  3. Start Fermentation: Place the inner container(s) into the yogurt maker. Cover with the top lid and plug in the power cord. Press the 'Function' button to select the 'Yogurt' mode. The default fermentation time is typically 8-10 hours. Adjust time with 'Time+' or 'Time-' buttons if needed. Press 'Confirm' to start.
  4. Enjoy: Once fermentation is complete, the machine will stop. Remove the yogurt and refrigerate for a few hours before serving. You can add an appropriate amount of fruit or other toppings for a better taste.

5.2 Making Rice Wine

The Bear SNJ-B10K1 can also make rice wine. Follow the specific recipe for rice wine preparation, then place the mixture in the stainless steel inner liner. Select the 'Rice Wine' function. The recommended fermentation time is 32-48 hours. Adjust as needed based on desired taste and ambient temperature.

5.3 Making Natto

To make natto, prepare your soybeans according to a natto recipe. Place the prepared soybeans in the stainless steel inner liner or ceramic cups. Select the 'Natto' function. The recommended fermentation time is 12-16 hours. Monitor the process and adjust time for optimal results.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Inner Liners and Lids: The 304 stainless steel inner liner, ceramic cups, and top cover are dishwasher safe or can be washed by hand with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely to prevent water spots or residue.
  • Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
  • Storage: Store the yogurt maker in a clean, dry place when not in use.
