- Trigger Switch: Activates the blower.
- Speed Adjustment On/Off Switch: Controls the blower's speed and turns it on/off.

2. Setup
2.1 Assembly of the Duct System
- Align the two sections of the blower duct.
- Push them together firmly until the removal buckle engages, securing the connection.

2.2 Battery Installation
- Ensure the blower is turned off.
- Slide a compatible 18V battery (e.g., BL1830, BL1850, BL1840, BL1840B, BL1850B, BL1430B, BL1820B, BL1440, BL1415, BL1815N) into the battery slot until it clicks securely into place.
- To remove the battery, press the release button (if present) and slide the battery out.

2.3 Initial Battery Charge
Before first use, fully charge the battery using a compatible EU charger. Ensure the battery capacity is between 5.0AH and 6.0AH for optimal performance.
3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Power On/Off and Speed Control
- To turn on the blower, rotate the speed adjustment dial from '0' to '1' or a higher setting.
- To adjust the blowing speed, rotate the dial to select one of the 5 available gears.
- To turn off the blower, rotate the dial back to '0'.

3.2 General Operation
Hold the blower firmly by the non-slip handle. Direct the blow nozzle towards the area you wish to clear or dry. Adjust the speed as needed for the task at hand.

5.1 Blower Not Turning On
- Check Battery: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly inserted into the blower.
- Battery Compatibility: Verify that the battery is compatible with the blower (Makita 18V B series lithium battery).
- Power Switch: Make sure the speed adjustment dial is turned to a setting other than '0'.
5.2 Low Blowing Force
- Battery Charge: A low battery charge can reduce performance. Recharge the battery.
