1. Introduction

This intelligent car audio-visual navigation system is a brand new and upgraded Android system navigation product, integrating GPS navigation, WiFi Internet access, car theater, and modern entertainment features. It is designed to provide a comprehensive and engaging in-car experience.

The satellite navigation system utilizes advanced intelligent voice navigation technology to offer detailed navigation information, making your journeys smoother. The rich entertainment system ensures a dynamic and personalized experience in your car. With cutting-edge technology, this system offers a powerful and highly open intelligent vehicle information platform, inviting you to explore new joys and modern driving.

This manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your new multimedia player. Please read it thoroughly before installation and operation.

2. Safety Information

2.1. General Warnings

  • To ensure your personal safety, the safety of your car, and others, please read all relevant instructions carefully before using this device.
  • Any damage to the unit caused by failure to follow these instructions will void the warranty.
  • To ensure driving safety and avoid violating traffic rules, do not watch programs or operate the machine while driving.
  • To avoid short circuits, do not expose this unit to rain.
  • Do not place or leave any metal objects (such as coins or metal tools) inside the device.
  • Use the machine according to this manual. Do not open the machine for maintenance yourself. If maintenance is required, go to a professional maintenance station.
  • When the engine is off, do not use the car audio for a long time, as it will drain the car battery.
  • Do not insert objects into ventilation slots or other openings of the device.
  • Do not touch, rub, or knock the screen with sharp objects.

3. Cleaning and Maintenance

  • If the device panel is stained, use a clean, soft cloth (e.g., a cleaning cloth) to wipe off the stains.
  • If the panel is very dirty, wipe off the dirt with a neutral detergent, then wipe off the detergent with a clean soft cloth.
  • CAUTION: Using cleaning sprays directly on the device may affect mechanical parts. Do not use hard cloths or volatile liquids (such as thinner or alcohol) to wipe the panel, as this may scratch the surface or erase characters.

5. Setup and Installation

5.1. General Installation Overview

The multimedia player is designed to seamlessly integrate into your Mercedes-Benz B200, A-Class W169, or B-Class W245 (2004-2011) dashboard. Professional installation is recommended.

Refer to the diagram above for connecting power, audio/video, USB, GPS antenna, and camera inputs. Ensure all connections are secure.

5.3. Rear View Camera Connection (Optional)

If you have purchased an optional rear view camera, follow these steps for connection:

  1. Red cable ② is connected to the back light "+".
  2. Black cable ① is connected to the "GND".
  3. The reverse detection cable ④ (Brown color) is connected to the red cable ③ which extends from the video output cable.

NOTE: If you encounter problems installing the rearview camera, please refer to the detailed wiring diagram below or contact support.

5.4. Steering Wheel Control Setup

To ensure proper functionality of your steering wheel controls, follow these steps:

5.4.1. With CANBUS Box

  1. Before starting the setup, confirm that the CANBUS box and 8-pin serial cable are connected to the multimedia unit.
  2. Refer to the image below to set your car model in the system settings.

5.4.2. Without CANBUS Box

If your unit does not have a CANBUS box, you will need to manually configure the steering wheel controls:

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Power On/Off

  • Power On: When you insert the car key and turn on the ACC power supply, the device will automatically turn on and display the start-up LOGO animation.
  • Power Off: When you remove the car key and turn off the ACC power supply, the device will automatically shut down.

6.2. Panel Buttons

The device features several physical buttons for quick access to functions:

  • POWER: Short press to turn on (if off); long press to turn off the screen (if on).
  • VOLUME (+/-): Adjusts the system volume.
  • HOME: On any application interface, press to return to the main interface.
  • RETURN: Returns to the previous interface or closes the current dialog.
  • MIC HOLE: Built-in microphone.
  • RST HOLE: Reset hole (for system reset).

6.3. Main Interface Navigation

To access the main interface, click the physical Home button on the host panel or press the Home button in any mode. You can swipe left and right to navigate through pages.

6.3.1. Drop-down Settings Bar

In any mode, pull down and swipe the touch screen from the top to display the drop-down Settings bar. This bar provides multiple shortcut switches for functions like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, screen saver, screen off, settings, signal reset, one-click acceleration, screenshot, restart, floating ball, mute, and auto brightness. You can also adjust brightness and volume from here.

6.3.2. Task Manager

Click the task manager icon to view applications currently running on the vehicle. Press and hold left/right to drag or directly click the "Close" button to terminate a program.

6.4. Application Program

Tap the "App" icon to open the application interface, which includes multiple built-in and third-party apps. Hold down the interface and swipe left and right to turn the page.

6.4.1. Third-Party Application Installation

  1. Download the third-party application (APK file) to your computer and copy it to a memory card or USB flash drive.
  2. Insert the memory card or USB disk into the machine.
  3. In the Application interface, open the "File Manager" to find and install the downloaded APK.

6.5. Music Player

The music player supports audio files from USB, SD card, and built-in hard disk. Supported formats include MP3, WMA, WAV, M4A, MID, etc. If an unsupported format is played, a prompt will appear.

From the main interface, click the music plug-in button or double-click an audio file in the "File Browse" interface to start playback. Controls include Previous, Play/Pause, Next, Cycle mode (Random/Single/List), File list, and Sound effect settings.

6.6. Bluetooth Phone

The Bluetooth phone function allows you to make and receive calls hands-free.

6.6.1. Pairing a Bluetooth Device

  1. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone.
  2. On the multimedia player, open the "Bluetooth pairing" interface and turn on the pairing switch.
  3. Search for the vehicle (within 10m) through your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  4. After selecting the device, a "Bluetooth Pairing Request" pop-up box will appear on your phone. Click "Pair" or enter the default PIN code (0000 or 1234) to connect.

6.6.2. Contacts and Calling

  • After successful phone connection, click "Contacts" to open the interface.
  • Click the sync button to synchronize your phonebook. You can view the contact list and numbers.
  • Click a contact to initiate a quick call.
  • You can clear phonebook information by clicking the delete button.
  • To make a call, click "Dial" to open the dial interface, enter the number using the keypad, and click the call icon.

6.6.3. Call Interface Functions

  • During a call: If in the Bluetooth Application interface, click the hang-up icon to end the call.
  • Floating Window: If a call comes in while using other applications, a floating window will appear. Click to connect the call. The back button will switch to a floating circle frame. Click the hang-up icon to end the call, or if the mobile phone hangs up, the small window will disappear automatically.
  • Call Options: Hang Up, Transfer (switch between handset and car audio), Mute, Keypad.

6.6.4. Call History

Click "Call History" to view records of missed, received, and dialed calls. You can swipe up and down to turn pages. Long-pressing a contact allows for quick dialing.

6.7. Bluetooth Music

The Bluetooth music function allows wireless playback of music files from your phone, provided your phone supports the corresponding Bluetooth protocol.

  • Click the music icon in the "Application" interface to enter the Bluetooth Music interface.
  • When a Bluetooth device is connected, the sound system automatically connects to the paired phone.
  • In some cases, the audio file may need to be started from your phone's keyboard.

6.8. Navigation Map

The device features a built-in GPS navigation system with omni-directional map display and real-time traffic conditions.

6.8.1. Accessing Navigation

Click the navigation icon in the Main Interface to enter the navigation program (e.g., Google Maps). Press the Home button to exit the navigation screen and switch to the home screen. Navigation continues in the background after exiting.

6.8.2. Guide Before You Go

  • Ensure the host is correctly connected to the satellite dish and receiving signals.
  • Ensure the vehicle is not in a location with poor satellite reception (e.g., tunnels, under bridges, near tall buildings).
  • Always set your navigation destination while parked; do not operate navigation while driving.

6.8.3. Navigation Function

You can find your destination using various retrieval functions of the navigation software. After setting the destination, start the path planning and navigate. In familiar areas, driving on your own may be more suitable than following mapped routes.

6.8.4. Navigation Map Updates

Due to rapid urban development and road traffic changes, navigation map companies continuously update their maps. Please update your navigation map information regularly.

6.9. System Settings

Click the "Settings" icon to open the System Settings screen. You can drag the left side up and down to view all settings categories.

6.9.1. Wi-Fi Settings

Click "WLAN" to enter the wireless network setting interface. Turn on the Wi-Fi switch. The machine will automatically search for nearby wireless signals and display the connection status. If a password is required, enter it and click "Connect". After successful connection, the device will automatically connect to the matched network upon restart.

6.9.2. Navigation Settings

Click "NAVI" to enter the navigation settings interface. The default navigation selection is Google Maps. You can turn on the navigation mix switch and adjust the background media volume.

6.9.3. Display Settings

Click "Display" to enter the display setting interface. Adjust brightness, auto brightness, front/rear visual brightness, key light, and language settings.

6.9.4. Reverse Camera Settings

Click "Reverse Camera" to enter the image setting interface. Here you can set the radar reference line and other parameters for the backward and forward view interfaces.

6.9.5. Radio Settings

Click "Radio" to enter the radio settings interface. You can set the radio signal strength (High, Middle, Low), radio antenna power supply, and radio area selection.

6.9.6. Date and Time Settings

Click "Datetime" to enter the date and time settings. Set the date, time, time zone, 24-hour format, automatic date/time, and auto time-zone.

6.9.7. System Information

Click "About" to view product information, product name, model, product info, Android version, software version, and service version.

6.9.8. Factory Settings (Advanced)

In the System Settings interface, click "Factory Settings" and enter the password "8888" to access advanced settings. Use with caution.

6.9.9. Restore Factory Settings (Advanced)

Click "Restore Factory Settings" and enter the password "8888" to perform a factory data reset. This operation will delete third-party software and current system settings. You will need to reinstall corresponding APKs. Exercise extreme caution when performing this operation.

6.10. Key Learning (Steering Wheel & Panel Buttons)

This function allows you to program physical buttons on your steering wheel or the device panel.

6.10.1. Touch Key Learning Steps

  1. In the Application Interface, click the "Key Learning" icon to enter the interface.
  2. Click "Start Learning" to enter learning mode.
  3. Select the function on the screen you want to assign.
  4. Press the corresponding physical button (e.g., on the steering wheel).
  5. Click "Save" on the device screen. The learned state will be displayed.
  6. Repeat steps 3-5 until all desired keys are learned.

6.10.2. Steering Wheel Key Learning (Wiring)

Connect the positive and negative poles of the original car's steering wheel control line to the corresponding positive and negative poles of the machine's square control line. Then follow the "Touch Key Learning Steps" to program each button.

6.10.3. Panel Key Learning

Press the buttons on the device panel one by one, referring to the "Touch Key Learning Steps" to complete all key settings.

6.11. Video Rearview System (Optional)

If equipped with a rear view camera, the system provides:

  • Fast automatic switch to display the rear image of the vehicle when reversing, filling the blind area of sight.
  • Third speed distance reference lines to help you make sound judgments.
  • The astern radar (if applicable) is displayed on the left side, and the visual display informs the driver of surrounding obstacles.

6.12. Radio Station

The radio function supports automatic and manual search, allowing you to save stations.

  • Click the radio icon in the application interface to enter the Radio interface.
  • The radio has functions such as searching for stations and saving stations.
  • When switched to radio playback, the system will automatically play the last station. After an automatic station search, the program will update and save the station list.
  • There are 12 pre-stored stations in the list of station favorites. Swipe left and right to view all channels.
  • To favorite a radio station, long-press the current channel to bookmark and save it.

6.13. Video Playback

The device supports 1080P video playback.

  • Tap the video icon in the Application interface to enter the Video File List interface.
  • Hold down the interface and swipe left and right to view the list information.
  • The video file displays the cover picture, video name, and video playing duration.
  • Click a video file to enter the Video Play screen.

6.14. Theme and Wallpaper

You can personalize the device's appearance.

  • In the Application screen, click the "Theme" icon to enter the Theme settings.
  • You can choose themes, screensavers, and wallpapers.
  • The device provides 15 sets of theme styles for personalized theme switching.
  • You can select a background picture directly or customize it by selecting a picture from your album.
  • Click "Update" to enter the upgrade theme package interface, where you can upgrade single themes or download all updates.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Steering Wheel Controls Not Working: If your steering wheel controls are not functioning, first verify that the CANBUS box (if applicable) and serial cable are correctly connected. If no CANBUS box is present, ensure you have performed the manual key learning procedure as described in section 5.4.2 and 6.10.
  • Rear View Camera Display Issues: Double-check all wiring connections for the rear view camera, especially the power, ground, and reverse trigger wire, as detailed in section 5.3. Ensure the camera is properly powered and the video signal cable is securely connected.
  • Bluetooth Pairing Problems: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both your phone and the multimedia player. Make sure the device is discoverable. If pairing fails, try restarting both devices and attempting the pairing process again. Verify the PIN code (default 0000 or 1234).
  • No Sound/Poor Sound Quality: Check the volume settings on the device and your phone (if playing via Bluetooth). Adjust the equalizer settings in the sound field menu. Ensure all speaker wires are correctly connected to the back of the host device.
  • Navigation Signal Loss: Ensure the GPS antenna is securely connected and placed in an area with a clear view of the sky. Avoid locations with poor satellite reception such as tunnels or under large structures.
  • System Unresponsive/Frozen: Use the RST (Reset) hole on the panel to perform a system reset. If the issue persists, consider performing a factory data reset (Section 6.9.9), but be aware this will erase third-party apps and settings.

9. User Tips

  • Installation Guidance: For complex installations, especially involving wiring for optional accessories like cameras or DVRs, consider seeking professional assistance or looking for official installation videos provided by the seller.
  • Vehicle Compatibility: Always double-check the compatibility of the multimedia player with your specific Mercedes-Benz model (B200, A-Class W169, B-Class W245) and year (2004-2011) before purchasing and installing to ensure a perfect fit and functionality.
  • Regular Updates: Keep your navigation maps and system software updated to ensure optimal performance and access to the latest features and road information.

10. Warranty and Support

10.1. Warranty Information

The product comes with a 2-year manufacturer's limited warranty for defective items (excluding items damaged and/or misused after receipt). Accessories typically come with a 3-month warranty.

Defective items MUST be reported and returned within the warranty period (and in the original packaging if possible). You must provide details of the defect and your order number. Items with an expired warranty will not be repaired or replaced.

The seller offers a 365-day free replacement warranty under specific terms and conditions:

  1. Buyer contacts seller regarding quality problems.
  2. Seller confirms the quality problems.
  3. Buyer returns the item to the seller.

10.2. Returns and Refunds

You have 7 days to contact the seller and 30 days to return an item from the date it was received. If the item is in your possession for more than 7 days, it is considered used, and a refund or replacement will not be issued. All returned items must be in their original packaging, and you must provide the shipping tracking number, specific reason for the return, and your purchase order number.

Your full winning bid amount will be refunded upon receipt of the item in its original condition and packaging with all components and accessories included, after both buyer and seller cancel the transaction. Alternatively, you may choose to have a replacement.
