6. Maintenance
6.1. Battery Management
The device is equipped with rechargeable lithium batteries. Battery life is affected by device monitoring frequency. To extend battery life:
- In crowded environments, it is recommended to turn off the alarm detection function or set it to low sensitivity to reduce device wake-up events.
- The camera operates in a low-power mode, entering standby after a few seconds of activity to save power. You can adjust the work time in the app settings.

Figure 13: Low-Power Mode Operation

6.2. Network Connectivity
Place the device within the signal range of your Wi-Fi router. Thick or insulated objects between the device and the router can weaken Wi-Fi signals. Ensure the Wi-Fi signal is strong for optimal performance.
6.3. Weather Resistance
The camera has an IP66 rating, meaning it is waterproof and can withstand harsh outdoor conditions like rain, snow, or sunlight.

7. Troubleshooting
7.1. 4G Device Connection Issues
If the blue LED on your 4G camera does not light up during setup, consider the following:
- Confirm that the SIM card is correctly inserted.
- Verify that the SIM card is valid and active.
- Check if the data traffic on the SIM card is sufficient.
- Ensure the 4G signal in the camera's position is normal.
- Confirm that the antenna is properly installed.
7.2. PIR Detection False Alarms or Missed Detections
If you are experiencing too many false alarms or missed detections, adjust the PIR detection sensitivity in the app settings (refer to section 5.3).
7.3. General Connectivity or App Issues
For other issues, use the 'Network diagnosis' tool in the UBox app to check signal strength. If problems persist, refer to the 'Frequently asked' section in the app or 'Contact us' for customer support.
