4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Inserting Your Smartphone

  1. Open the mobile phone cover (7) on the front of the VR headset.
  2. Carefully place your smartphone into the phone tray. Ensure your phone's screen size is between 4.7 and 6.53 inches and its dimensions do not exceed 162.5mm x 76.4mm x 8.8mm.
  3. Center your smartphone within the tray for optimal viewing.
  4. Close the mobile phone cover securely.

4.2 Adjusting the Headset

  1. Place the VR headset on your head and adjust the flexible headband (4) for a comfortable and secure fit.
  2. Adjust the IPD (Interpupillary Distance) using the IPD adjustment knob (2) until the image appears clear and comfortable for both eyes.
  3. Adjust the object distance (focal length) using the distance adjustment knob (3) to achieve the sharpest image, especially if you have myopia under 600 degrees.

4.3 Setting up the Bluetooth Controller

  1. Insert Batteries: If your controller model (e.g., B01, B02, 052, Y1) is not rechargeable, open the battery compartment and insert 2 AAA 1.5V batteries. (Batteries are not included).

  2. Power On: Turn on the controller using the power switch. The blue LED indicator light will flash, indicating it's in pairing mode.
  3. Pairing: On your smartphone, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices. Select the controller (e.g., 'MOCUTE-052') to pair. The blue LED will turn off once successfully connected.
  4. App Compatibility: The controller is compatible with Android, iOS, and PC. For specific VR apps like Baofeng Mojing, you may need to select 'MOCUTE' within the app's controller settings.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Headset Operation

  • Volume Control: Use the Volume + (11) and Volume - (13) buttons on the headset to adjust audio levels.
  • Multi-function Button (12): This button has various functions for calls and media playback:
    • Single-press: Answer an incoming call.
    • Long-press: Reject incoming calls.
    • Click: Play music.
    • Click again: Pause music.
    • Triple-click: Play the previous track.
    • Double-click: Play the next track.

  • Cleaning the Eye Mask: The skin-imitating protein skin material eye mask can be gently wiped with a damp cloth. Ensure it is dry before prolonged storage.
  • Storage: Store the VR glasses and controller in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep them free from dust and moisture.
  • Battery Replacement (Controller): Replace AAA batteries in the controller when performance degrades or the indicator light suggests low power.

  • Blurry Image:
    • Ensure your smartphone is properly centered in the phone tray.
    • Adjust the IPD (Interpupillary Distance) using knob (2) until the image is clear for both eyes.
    • Adjust the object distance (focal length) using knob (3) for sharpness.
  • Controller Not Connecting/Working:
    • Check if the controller has fresh batteries (if applicable).
    • Ensure the controller is powered on and in pairing mode (blue LED flashing).
    • Verify Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and try re-pairing the controller.
    • Confirm the correct operating mode is selected on the controller for your activity (e.g., game, video, mouse).
  • Mouse Mode Not Working on iOS:
    • The wireless mouse model of the controller does not support iOS systems. This is a design limitation.
  • Phone Not Fitting:
    • Ensure your smartphone's screen size is between 4.7 and 6.53 inches.
    • Check that your phone's physical dimensions (length, width, thickness) do not exceed 162.5mm x 76.4mm x 8.8mm.
  • No Sound from Headphones:
    • Ensure your smartphone's audio output is routed to the headset's 3.5mm jack (if applicable for your headset version).
