5. Setup
5.1 Attaching the Cartridge Needle
- Ensure the tattoo pen is powered off.
- Carefully insert the desired cartridge needle into the front opening of the tattoo pen.
- Twist the needle cartridge clockwise until it is securely locked in place.
- Adjust the needle depth by rotating the grip of the pen. The scale on the pen indicates the stroke length (2.4mm to 4.2mm).

5.2 Charging the Device
Connect the Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the device and a suitable power source (current below 2A). The display will show a charging symbol, and then the actual battery status will blink.

6. Operation
6.1 Controls Overview

- Power Button (C): On/Off, Start/Pause.
- +/- Buttons (B, D): Adjust voltage/frequency.
- Function Keys (M, E): Switch modes, adjust settings.
6.2 Basic Operation
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the Power Button (C) for 1.5 seconds to turn the machine on or off.
- Start/Pause: After powering on, press and hold the Power Button (C) to start the motor and begin timing. Press the Power Button (C) again to pause the operation. Pressing it once more will resume operation.
- Voltage Adjustment: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the voltage in increments of 0.1V. Hold the buttons for continuous adjustment. The voltage range is 4.0V to 12.0V, with a default setting of 8V.
- Battery Status Display: After starting, press the Power Button (C) to activate the motor and display the current battery status on the screen.
6.3 Advanced Modes
- Strong Start Mode: Double-press the 'M' Function Key (E) after starting the machine to activate Strong Start mode. In this mode, the machine will operate at its highest speed for 0.5 seconds, then revert to the previously set speed. This is useful for starting with larger needle configurations.
- Pricking Mode: Press the 'M' Function Key (E) to switch between Normal mode and Pricking mode. In Pricking mode, you can adjust the pricking frequency using the '+' and '-' buttons. The display will show relevant frequency information (e.g., 20NPS10HZ).
6.4 Display and Memory Functions
- Memory Function: The device remembers the last active state and speed/gear settings. These settings will be restored the next time the unit is powered on.
- Automatic Display Off/Sleep: The display will automatically turn off after 10 seconds of inactivity. The device will enter sleep mode after 5 minutes of complete inactivity.
- Timing Function: The device tracks the duration of use when the motor is running. This timing is preserved during pauses. Pressing the power button to pause will reset the timing.
