4. Assembly Instructions

  1. Attach Stabilizers: Secure the front and rear stabilizer bars to the main frame using the provided bolts and washers.
  2. Install Pedals: Identify the left (L) and right (R) pedals. The left pedal screws counter-clockwise, and the right pedal screws clockwise. Ensure they are tightly secured to the crank arms.
  3. Assemble Seat: Attach the seat to the seat post, then insert the seat post into the main frame.
  4. Install Handlebars: Mount the handlebar assembly onto the handlebar post, then insert the handlebar post into the main frame.
  5. Connect Monitor: Connect the sensor wires from the main frame to the LCD monitor. Install 2 AAA LR03 batteries (not included) into the monitor.
  6. Final Checks: Ensure all connections are secure and all bolts are tightened.

5. Setup and Adjustments

5.1 Adjusting Seat and Handlebars

The seat and handlebars are adjustable to accommodate different body sizes and ensure a comfortable and effective workout posture.

  • Seat Height: Loosen the adjustment knob on the seat post, raise or lower the seat to your desired height (between 71-85 cm from the floor), and then tighten the knob securely. Your knees should have a slight bend at the bottom of the pedal stroke.
  • Handlebar Height: Loosen the adjustment knob on the handlebar post, adjust the handlebars to a comfortable height (between 102-112 cm from the floor), and then tighten the knob securely.

The cage pedals feature adjustable straps to secure your feet during exercise. Adjust the straps to ensure your feet are firmly in place, preventing slippage and enhancing safety.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Starting Your Workout

  1. Sit on the bike and place your feet securely in the pedal cages.
  2. Adjust the resistance to your desired level using the resistance knob.
  3. Begin pedaling. The LCD monitor will automatically turn on and display your workout data.

The bike features adjustable resistance with up to 8 levels. Turn the resistance knob clockwise to increase the intensity of your workout, and counter-clockwise to decrease it. This allows you to customize your training to match your fitness level and goals.

6.3 Emergency Stop

For immediate stopping of the flywheel, press down firmly on the red emergency brake button located on the resistance knob. This will bring the flywheel to a rapid halt, ensuring safety.

The LCD monitor tracks your workout progress, displaying the following metrics:

  • TIME: Duration of your workout.
  • SPEED: Current speed in km/h or mph.

  • CALORIES: Estimated calories burned.

7. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe down the bike with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Lubrication: Periodically check for any squeaking noises. If detected, apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant to moving parts as needed, such as pedal axles or seat post.
  • Tightness Check: Regularly check all bolts, nuts, and connections to ensure they are tight. Tighten any loose components to prevent accidents and ensure smooth operation.
  • Storage: Store the bike in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture. The integrated transport wheels (Transport wheels on the exercise bike) allow for easy relocation.
  • Battery Replacement: Replace the AAA batteries in the LCD monitor when the display becomes dim or stops functioning.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Bike is unstable/wobbles: Ensure the bike is on a flat surface. Check and tighten all stabilizer bolts. Adjust the leveling feet if present.
  • Squeaking noises: Identify the source of the squeak (e.g., pedals, seat post, flywheel area). Apply a small amount of silicone lubricant to the moving parts.
  • Resistance not changing: Check the resistance knob mechanism. Ensure it is properly engaged and not stripped.
  • LCD monitor not working: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace batteries if necessary. Ensure sensor wires are securely connected.
  • Pedals feel loose: Re-tighten the pedals to the crank arms. Remember that the left pedal is reverse-threaded.
