  • Manual Cutter: For precise cuts or in case the automatic cutter is not desired, use the Manual Cutter lever to trim the thread chain.

8. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your sewing machine.

8.1. Cleaning

  • After each use, turn off the machine and remove the battery.
  • Use a soft brush or compressed air to remove lint, dust, and thread scraps from the needle area, presser foot, and feed mechanism.
  • Wipe the exterior of the machine with a clean, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or solvents.

8.2. Lubrication

  • Refer to the included Parts Book for specific lubrication points and frequency.
  • Apply a few drops of sewing machine oil (provided in the tool kit) to designated moving parts, such as the looper mechanism and needle bar.
  • Avoid over-oiling, as this can attract dust and lint.

8.3. Needle Replacement

Replace the needle regularly, especially if it becomes bent, dull, or breaks. A worn needle can cause skipped stitches or damage to the material.

  1. Follow the steps in Section 6.3 for Needle Installation to replace the needle.
  2. Always use the correct type and size of needle for your machine. Ten spare needles are included in your package.

8.4. Drive Belt Replacement

If the drive belt shows signs of wear or breakage, replace it with the spare provided in your package. Refer to the Parts Book for detailed instructions on accessing and replacing the drive belt.
