8. Troubleshooting

  • Wireless Connection Disconnections: If CarPlay/Android Auto frequently disconnects, try changing the Wi-Fi signal channel. Go to the module's menu screen, then Wi-Fi settings, and change the channel to 48 or 161. This often resolves issues caused by frequency interference.
  • Black Screen after LVDS Connection: Ensure the LVDS cable is connected correctly to the back of the original radio. Incorrect connection can cause a black screen.
  • Reverse Camera Not Working: If the camera is not displaying properly, try changing the CVBS signal mode in the module's settings (Module Settings > Reverse Settings > Change CVBS signal mode).
  • No Audio via AUX: Ensure that "Use original Bluetooth" is turned OFF in the module settings when using AUX audio. Remember that Bluetooth audio and AUX audio cannot be used simultaneously.
  • Android Auto Disconnection after Firmware Update (Samsung Phones): For Android phones like Samsung experiencing disconnection issues after a firmware update, adjust your phone's settings:
    • 1. Samsung WiFi Settings Connections: Disable "Intelligent Wi-Fi" and "Connectivity labs" features. Enable "Wi-Fi developer options" and "Wi-Fi packet log for debugging". Turn on "Air-key Capture".
    • 2. Dual-SIM Configuration Settings: For dual SIM mobile phones, use SIM1 first. Calls will default to SIM1, and data transmission will default to SIM1.
