4. Setup

4.1. Package Contents

Before starting, ensure all items are present in the package:

  • PT-112DC Thermal Label Printer
  • Battery
  • Power Charger
  • Paper Adjustment Board
  • USB Cable
  • Label Roll

4.2. Charging the Printer

  1. Locate the charging port on the side of the printer. It is protected by a red rubber cover.
  2. Open the rubber cover to expose the charging port (small circular port) and the USB port (micro-USB).
  3. Connect the power charger to the charging port.
  4. Plug the power charger into a suitable power outlet.
  5. The printer's LCD screen or indicator light will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 4 hours.

4.3. Loading the Label Roll

  1. Press the 'Open' button on the side of the printer to release the paper compartment cover.
  2. Lift the cover to open the paper compartment.
  3. Insert the label roll into the compartment, ensuring the labels feed from the bottom and the printable side is facing up.
  4. Adjust the paper guides to fit the width of your label roll using the Paper Adjustment Board if necessary.
  5. Pull a small length of label paper out past the print head.
  6. Close the paper compartment cover firmly until it clicks into place.

4.4. Initial Power On

  1. Press and hold the 'Power' button until the LCD screen illuminates.
  2. The printer will perform a self-test and display its status.

5.1. Connecting via Bluetooth (Smartphone/Tablet)

  1. Ensure the printer is powered on and Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device.
  2. Open the dedicated PUTY Print application (or compatible label printing app) on your device.
  3. Within the app, navigate to the printer settings or connection menu.
  4. Select the PT-112DC from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
  5. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete the pairing process.

5.2. Connecting via USB (PC)

  1. Connect the printer to your computer using the provided USB cable.

  1. Design your label using the PUTY Print app or compatible PC software.
  2. Ensure the label content, size, and orientation are correctly set.
  3. Select the PT-112DC printer from your device's print options.
