2. Setup and Charging

2.1 Initial Charge

Before first use, fully charge the device. The 1500mAh lithium battery provides up to 30 days of continuous use on a single 4-hour charge.

  1. Locate the USB charging port on the device, usually covered by a waterproof plug.
  2. Open the waterproof plug and connect the USB charging cable.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a power source (e.g., power bank, wall adapter, car charger, notebook).
  4. The charge indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
  5. Ensure the waterproof plug is securely closed after charging to maintain IPX7 waterproof integrity.

2.2 Attaching a Nozzle

  1. Select the desired jet tip (Standard, Orthodontic, Periodontal, or Tonguescaper).
  2. Insert the nozzle into the opening at the top of the irrigator unit until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, press the nozzle release button (if present) and pull the nozzle out.

2.3 Filling the Water Tank

The device features a 300ml water tank.

  1. Method 1 (Side Panel): Open the side panel on the water tank to provide additional water supply.
  2. Method 2 (Twisted Tank): Twist the water tank counter-clockwise to separate it from the main unit, fill with water, and then reattach by twisting clockwise until secure.
  3. Fill the tank with lukewarm water. You may add mouthwash as recommended by your dentist.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Power On/Off and Mode Selection

The Sarmocare F800 offers 4 flossing modes:

  • Soft: For daily cleaning or sensitive teeth, ideal for new users.
  • Normal: For effective cleaning or breath freshening.
  • Strong: For deep cleaning between teeth or braces.
  • Pulse: To remove 99.99% plaque and massage gums.
  1. Press the Power button to turn the device ON.
  2. Press the Mode button repeatedly to cycle through the modes (Soft, Normal, Strong, Pulse). The indicator light next to the selected mode will illuminate.
  3. Press the Power button again to turn the device OFF.

3.2 Flossing Technique

For optimal results, follow these steps:

  1. Lean over a sink and place the nozzle tip in your mouth.
  2. Aim the water jet at a 90-degree angle to your gumline.
  3. Turn on the device and start with the 'Soft' mode if you are a new user.
  4. Move the nozzle along your gumline, pausing briefly between teeth. Allow the water to flow into the sink.
  5. Continue until you have cleaned all areas of your mouth.

4. Maintenance and Care

Regular cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your oral irrigator.

4.1 Cleaning the Water Tank

  1. Empty any remaining water after each use.
  2. Remove the water tank from the main unit (if detachable) or open the side panel.
  3. Rinse the tank thoroughly with clean water.
  4. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution, then rinse completely.
  5. Allow the tank to air dry before reattaching.

4.2 Cleaning Nozzles

  1. Remove the nozzle from the irrigator unit.
  2. Rinse the nozzle under running water.
  3. For thorough cleaning, soak nozzles in a cup of white vinegar for 5-10 minutes to remove mineral deposits, then rinse well.
  4. Replace nozzles every 3-6 months, or sooner if they show signs of wear.

4.3 Cleaning the Main Unit

The Sarmocare F800 is IPX7 waterproof, allowing for easy cleaning.

  1. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  2. Do not submerge the main unit in water for extended periods, especially if the charging port cover is not securely closed.
  3. Ensure the waterproof plug covering the charging port is always securely closed when not charging to prevent water ingress.

4.4 Storage

Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Ensure the water tank is empty and dry before storage.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 No Water Flow or Weak Pressure

  • Ensure the water tank is filled correctly and securely attached.
  • Check if the nozzle is properly inserted and not clogged. Remove and clean the nozzle if necessary.
  • Verify that the device is fully charged. Low battery can affect water pressure.
  • If using a new nozzle, ensure it is compatible with the F800 model.

5.2 Device Not Turning On

  • Check the battery level. Charge the device for at least 30 minutes.
  • Ensure the power button is pressed firmly.

5.3 Device Not Charging

  • Verify that the USB cable is securely connected to both the device and the power source.
  • Try a different USB port or power adapter.
  • Ensure the charging port is clean and free of debris.
