5. Installation
The Jansite T86D is designed for easy installation without disassembling your car's console.
5.1 Mounting the Device
- Choose a suitable location on your dashboard that does not obstruct your view or interfere with airbags.
- Clean the dashboard surface thoroughly where the adhesive base will be placed.
- Attach the adhesive base to the chosen location.
- Secure the main unit to the bracket, adjusting the angle for optimal viewing (up to 270° rotation and 15° screen angle flip).
5.2 Power Connection
- Connect the provided car charger to the Type-C power connector on the device.
- Plug the car charger into your vehicle's 12V power outlet (cigarette lighter socket).
- The device supports DC 12V~30V input, making it compatible with various vehicles including RVs, trucks, and vans.
5.3 Audio Output Connection
You have several options for audio output:
- FM Wireless Output: Select an unused FM frequency on the device and tune your car's radio to the same frequency. The device can transmit audio wirelessly to your car's speakers.
- AUX Line Wired Output: Connect the provided 3.5mm AUX cable from the device's AUX port to your car's AUX input. This provides a direct wired audio connection.
- Built-in Speaker: The device has a built-in 1W speaker for direct audio playback.

5.4 Reversing Camera Installation (Optional)
If you have purchased the optional reversing camera:
- Mount the camera at the rear of your vehicle, ensuring a clear view. The camera is IP68 waterproof.
- Route the camera cable (6m or 10m, depending on model) from the rear of the vehicle to the device's AV IN (Rear Camera) port.
- Connect the camera's power cable to your vehicle's reverse light power source so it activates automatically when reverse gear is engaged.

6. Setup
6.1 Initial Power On
Once connected to power, the device should power on automatically. The boot-up time is approximately 5 seconds.
6.2 Language Settings
The device supports multiple OSD languages including English, Simplified/Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Hebrew, Russian, Polish, Dutch, Portuguese, and Arabic. Navigate to the settings menu to select your preferred language.
6.3 Time and Date Settings
Adjust the time and date in the settings menu. If an optional GPS module is connected, the time may synchronize automatically.
6.4 Bluetooth Pairing
- On the device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Search for available devices on your phone and select the Jansite T86D.
- Confirm the pairing code on both devices.
6.5 Wi-Fi Connection
The device supports 2.4/5GHz wireless Wi-Fi. Connect to your phone's hotspot or a local Wi-Fi network for internet-dependent features.

7. Operating Instructions
7.1 Wireless CarPlay
For iPhone users, connect wirelessly to Apple CarPlay to access navigation, music, messages, and calls directly on the car radio screen.
- Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your iPhone and the T86D.
- Pair your iPhone with the T86D via Bluetooth.
- Once paired, CarPlay should automatically launch.

7.2 Wireless Android Auto
For Android users, connect wirelessly to Android Auto to use Google Maps, play music, send messages, and make calls.
- Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your Android phone and the T86D.
- Pair your Android phone with the T86D via Bluetooth.
- Android Auto should launch automatically.

7.3 Mirrorlink (Screen Mirroring)
The device supports Mirrorlink for both Android and iPhone, allowing you to project your phone's screen onto the T86D.
- iPhone: Connects to the screen, but does not support bilateral screen touch (control from the T86D).
- Android: You will be prompted to install an APP Screen projection software. Once installed, you can use touch control on both the phone and the T86D screen.

7.4 GPS Navigation
Utilize your smartphone's navigation apps through CarPlay or Android Auto for real-time GPS navigation. The T86D provides a clear display and voice-guided directions through your car's audio system.

7.5 Voice Control (Siri/Google Assistant)
Access Siri or Google Assistant through the T86D for hands-free control. Simply speak commands to navigate, make calls, send messages, or control music.

7.6 Multimedia Playback
The T86D supports multimedia playback from TF cards (up to 128GB, C10/U1 or above recommended) and USB drives.
- Insert a TF card into the TF Card Slot.
- Connect a USB drive to the USB port (if available, or via an adapter).
- Navigate to the multimedia player on the device to browse and play audio/video files.

7.7 Reversing Camera Display
If an optional reversing camera is installed and properly wired, the display will automatically switch to the camera view when the vehicle is put into reverse gear. The camera provides a 140° wide-angle view with night vision and parking lines.

9. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Ensure the car charger is securely plugged into both the device and the vehicle's 12V outlet. Check the vehicle's fuse for the 12V outlet.
- No Audio: Verify the selected audio output method (FM, AUX, or built-in speaker). If using FM, ensure your car radio is tuned to the same frequency as the device. If using AUX, check the cable connection.
- CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on both the device and your smartphone. Try forgetting the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings and re-pairing. Restart both the device and your phone.
- Mirrorlink Touch Not Working (Android): Ensure you have installed the required APP Screen projection software on your Android phone.
- Reversing Camera Not Displaying: Check all camera cable connections, including the power connection to the reverse light. Ensure the AV IN port is correctly used.
- Screen Unresponsive: Try restarting the device. If the issue persists, perform a factory reset via the settings menu (note: this will erase all custom settings).
