Setup and Installation
Before installation, ensure the power supply is disconnected to prevent electric shock. The W3103 thermostat is designed for wall-hanging installation.
1. Mounting
Secure the thermostat to a wall or suitable surface using screws through the designated mounting holes on the back of the device.
2. Wiring
Connect the power supply and load according to the appropriate wiring diagram for your chosen voltage (DC12V/24V or AC220V). Ensure all connections are secure and correctly polarized.

3. Temperature Sensor Connection
Connect the provided NTC 10K/B3435 temperature sensor (L=1 meter) to the sensor input terminals on the device. Ensure the sensor is placed in the environment where temperature measurement is required.
Operating Instructions
The W3103 thermostat offers four main operational modes: Temperature Control, Intermittent Operation, Scheduled Shutdown, and Scheduled Startup.
1. Temperature Control Mode (F0)
After power is turned on, the number displayed in the middle of the screen is the temperature control mode (F0). If it is not a number, you can short press the middle function switch key (SET button) to cycle to F0.

- Setting Start Temperature: Press the left Up or Down key. The start temperature display will flash. Use the Up and Down keys to adjust the desired start temperature. The setting will automatically save without further operation.
- Setting Stop Temperature: Press the right Up or Down key. The stop temperature display will flash. Use the Up and Down keys to adjust the desired stop temperature. The setting will automatically save without further operation.
2. Intermittent Mode (F1)
To enter Intermittent Mode, short press the SET button until "F1" is displayed in the middle of the screen.

- Setting Start Time (ON duration): Press the left Up or Down key. The start time display unit (minutes) will flash. Use the Up and Down keys to adjust the desired ON duration. The setting will automatically save.
- Setting Stop Time (OFF duration): Press the right Up or Down key. The stop time display unit (minutes) will flash. Use the Up and Down keys to adjust the desired OFF duration. The setting will automatically save.
3. Scheduled Shutdown (F2) and Scheduled Startup (F3)
To access these modes, short press the SET button to cycle to F2 (scheduled shutdown) or F3 (scheduled startup).
- Setting Time: In F2 or F3 mode, use the Up and Down keys associated with the "Start setting" or "Stop setting" to adjust the desired time in minutes. The setting will automatically save.
4. Temperature Correction Function
This function allows you to calibrate the temperature reading if there is a discrepancy with a known accurate thermometer.

- Entering Correction Setting: Long press the SET button for more than 3 seconds. The display will show the temperature correction difference and the code "BCAJ".
- Adjusting Correction Value: Use the right Up and Down keys to set the desired temperature difference value. This value will be added to the measured temperature. The setting will automatically save.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and accurate operation of your W3103 thermostat, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Regularly wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the casing or display.
- Sensor Care: Keep the temperature sensor clean and free from debris. Avoid bending or damaging the sensor cable.
- Environmental Conditions: Ensure the thermostat is operated within its specified environmental conditions (temperature, humidity) to prevent malfunction.
- Power Disconnection: Always disconnect the power supply before performing any cleaning or maintenance tasks.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your W3103 thermostat, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- No Display/Power:
- Check the power supply connections to ensure they are secure and the correct voltage (DC12V/24V/AC220V) is being supplied.
- Verify that the power source is active.
- Inaccurate Temperature Reading:
- Ensure the temperature sensor is properly connected and not damaged.
- Check if the sensor is placed correctly in the environment to be measured.
- Use the Temperature Correction Function (refer to Operating Instructions) to calibrate the reading if necessary.
- Output Not Activating/Deactivating:
- Verify that the start and stop temperature/time settings are correctly configured for the desired operation.
- Check the wiring to the load to ensure it is correctly connected and the load itself is functional.
- Ensure the device is in the correct operating mode (Temperature Control, Intermittent, Scheduled).
- Buttons Unresponsive:
- Try power cycling the device (disconnect and reconnect power).
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the buttons.
If the problem persists after attempting these steps, please contact customer support.
User Tips
- Initial Setup: Always double-check your wiring against the provided diagram, especially for DC vs. AC versions, to prevent damage.
- Sensor Placement: For best accuracy, place the temperature sensor away from direct heat sources, drafts, or extreme cold spots that do not represent the average temperature of the area you wish to control.
- Calibration: If precise temperature control is critical, use a known accurate thermometer to verify the W3103's reading and apply temperature correction if needed.
- Mode Switching: Remember to short press the SET button to cycle through the different operating modes (F0, F1, F2, F3) to access the desired functionality.
