The Autophix OM129 is designed for plug-and-play operation and does not require an internal battery for basic functionality, drawing power directly from the vehicle's OBDII port.

3.2 Connecting to Vehicle

  1. Locate the 16-pin Data Link Connector (DLC) in your vehicle. This is usually found under the dashboard on the driver's side.
  2. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is OFF.
  3. Connect the OM129's OBDII connector (8V-18V) firmly into the vehicle's DLC.

4.2 Read Codes / Erase Codes

4.4 Data Stream

4.5 View Freeze Frame
