3.3 Network Connection
Your camera comes in two versions: WiFi and 4G. Ensure you have the correct version for your network needs.
- WiFi Version: Supports 2.4Ghz WiFi networks only. Connect the camera to your home or office 2.4Ghz WiFi network via the UBOX app during setup.
- 4G Version: Supports 4G cellular networks via a 4G SIM card. A SIM card is required and is not included with the camera. You will need to purchase a compatible 4G SIM card and a data plan from a telecommunications operator. Insert the SIM card into the designated slot on the camera before powering it on.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 UBOX App Installation and Setup
Download the 'UBOX' app from your device's app store (available for Android and iOS). Follow the in-app instructions to add your camera and complete the initial setup.
4.2 Dual Lens and Dual View Monitoring
The camera features a unique three-lens system, providing a 12MP Super HD video and live view. The UBOX app displays two video screens: one for the wide-angle lens and another for the PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) lens. This dual-view capability allows for simultaneous monitoring, eliminating blind spots.
- Free Switching: Double-click on either camera image within the app to switch between views.
- Drag to View: The PTZ lens can follow the position of the wide-angle lens, allowing you to easily focus on areas of interest.
