Setup and Installation

  1. Rail Adapter Selection

    The Baldr Pro R comes with a GL Rail Adapter pre-installed. If your firearm uses a Picatinny (1913) rail, you will need to replace the GL adapter with the included 1913 Rail Adapter.

  2. Mounting the Flashlight

    The Baldr Pro R features a quick install system with a locking swing arm for easy attachment and detachment.

    • Ensure the installation space on your rail is no less than 1.771 inches (45mm).
    • Align the flashlight with the rail and secure it using the locking swing arm.
    • Use the provided hex key and screws to tighten the mount if necessary for a secure fit.

  3. Optional Remote Pressure Switch

    For long setups, an optional magnetic remote pressure switch can be used. This accessory allows for flexible activation without needing to reach the rear switches.

Operating Instructions

  1. Charging the Battery

    The Baldr Pro R features a built-in rechargeable battery and uses a USB Magnetic Charging Cable (MCC 1A). To charge:

    • Connect the USB end of the MCC 1A cable to a power source (e.g., USB wall adapter, computer USB port).
    • Attach the magnetic end of the cable to the charging port at the bottom of the flashlight. The magnetic connection will snap into place.
    • The indicator light on the MCC 1A cable will show charging status.
    • There is no need to remove the battery for charging.

  2. Mode Selection

    The Baldr Pro R features a mode selector ring on the head of the flashlight. Twist this ring to select between different output modes:

    • White Light Only: Activates only the flashlight beam.
    • GL Beam Only: Activates only the green laser.
    • White Light & GL Beam Combo: Activates both the flashlight and the green laser simultaneously.

  3. Activation and Strobe

    The Baldr Pro R is equipped with ambidextrous rear switches for easy operation:

    • Momentary-On: Press and hold either rear switch. Release to turn off.
    • Constant-On: Quickly press and release either rear switch. Press again to turn off.
    • Strobe Mode: Quickly push both rear switches simultaneously to activate strobe. Press either switch again to turn off.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Regularly clean the lens and body of the flashlight with a soft, clean cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used.
  • Charging Port: Keep the magnetic charging port clean and free of debris to ensure proper charging.
  • Storage: Store the flashlight in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
  • Water Resistance: The Baldr Pro R is IPX4 waterproof. While it can withstand splashes, avoid submerging it in water.
