2. Safety Instructions
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electric tools to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.

- Ensure the workpiece is securely clamped before starting any operation.

5. Setup
5.1. Unpacking and Package Contents
Carefully unpack all items and check against the packing list:
- 1 x Electric Grinding Tool
- 1 x Battery
- 1 x Adapter (Charger)

5.2. Charging the Battery
- Connect the adapter to a suitable power outlet.
- Insert the battery into the adapter's charging port.
- Allow the battery to charge fully before first use. The power indicator light on the grinder will show charging status (refer to Section 3. Product Overview for indicator light location).
5.3. Installing/Changing the Grinding Disc
- Ensure the battery is removed from the grinder for safety.
- Press and hold the spindle lock button (refer to Figure 3.2 for location).
- Use the provided wrench to loosen the flange nut counter-clockwise.
- Place the desired grinding disc onto the spindle, ensuring it is centered.
- Re-attach the flange nut and tighten it clockwise with the wrench while holding the spindle lock button. Do not overtighten.
- Release the spindle lock button.

5.4. Adjusting the Safety Shield
The safety shield can be adjusted without tools. Simply rotate it to the desired position to provide maximum protection for the specific task and angle of operation.
5.5. Installing the Battery
Align the battery pack with the base of the grinder and slide it in until it clicks securely into place.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Powering On/Off
- To turn ON: Slide the side switch (Bearing Switch) to the 'ON' position. The disc will immediately begin to rotate.
- To turn OFF: Slide the side switch to the 'OFF' position. The quick stop design will rapidly halt the disc rotation.
6.2. General Operation Guidelines
- Always hold the grinder firmly with one hand, utilizing the anti-slip grip.
- Allow the disc to reach full speed before making contact with the workpiece.
- Apply light, consistent pressure. Do not force the tool, as this can lead to kickback or damage to the tool/workpiece.
- Move the grinder smoothly across the material.
- For cutting, use the edge of the disc. For grinding/polishing, use the face of the disc at a slight angle to the workpiece.
- Be aware of sparks and debris. Ensure the safety shield is correctly positioned.
