Operating Instructions

1. Cleaning Modes

The M2 Pro offers versatile cleaning options:

  • Vacuuming: Utilizes 6000Pa suction to effectively pick up dust, dirt, and debris.
  • Mopping: The 300ml electric control water tank allows for adjustable water flow (3 levels) to tackle light, normal, or heavy stains.
  • Vacuum & Mop Combo: Save time and effort with simultaneous vacuuming and mopping.

2. Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance

The M2 Pro uses advanced navigation technologies for thorough and safe cleaning:

  • DTOF Laser Navigation: Provides 360° LiDAR precision scanning with a 15m range, covering up to 800m² for efficient mapping and navigation in large and complex layouts.
  • 190° PSD Precision Obstacle Detection: Accurately detects varying shapes, colors, and sizes of obstacles, avoiding collisions and protecting furniture. This technology works day and night.
  • FreeMove Technology: Prevents the robot from colliding, getting stuck on debris, or malfunctioning, ensuring a smoother cleaning path compared to robots without this feature.

3. Carpet Detection and Auto Boost

The M2 Pro intelligently detects carpets. When vacuuming without the mop holder attached, it will automatically boost suction to maximum (6000Pa) for deeper carpet cleaning. When the mop holder is attached, the robot will automatically avoid carpets to prevent wetting them.

4. Multi-Level Mapping and No-Go Zones

The robot can effectively navigate and automatically identify up to 3 different floor plans, making it suitable for multi-story homes. Through the Lefant App, you can set custom No-Go Zones to block specific areas, preventing the robot from cleaning sensitive spots, reducing collisions, and protecting furniture.

5. Recharge & Resume

When the battery is low, the M2 Pro will automatically return to its charging station. Once sufficiently charged, it will resume cleaning from where it left off, ensuring complete coverage without repeated cleaning of already finished areas.

Maintenance

1. Self-Emptying Station

The self-emptying station automatically vacuums dirt from the robot's dustbin into a larger dustbin or dust bag, providing up to 45 days of hands-free cleaning. There are two options for the self-emptying station:

  • Option 1: 2.7L Dustbin: Offers up to 45 days of uninterrupted cleaning. The dustbin can be emptied directly into a trash can.
  • Option 2: 2.5L Dust Bag: Easy to disassemble and dispose of waste.

2. Cleaning the Robot and Components

  • Dustbin: The robot's internal dust box has a capacity of 150ml. Empty it regularly, especially if not using the self-emptying station.
  • Filters: The M2 Pro uses HEPA filters. Replace them as needed to maintain optimal suction. The package includes 4 HEPA filters and 2 dustbin filter sponges.
  • Side Brushes: The anti-tangle side brushes should be cleaned periodically to remove hair and debris. Replace them if they become worn. The package includes 2 side brushes.
  • Main Brush: The anti-tangle roller brush should also be cleaned regularly using the provided cleaning tool to remove tangled hair and debris.
  • Mop Cloth: The washable mop cloth should be cleaned after each mopping session.
  • Sensors: Wipe the sensors on the robot and charging station with a clean, dry cloth to ensure proper navigation and obstacle detection.

Replacement mopping pads and filters are available for purchase. Please contact customer support for details on obtaining these parts.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your Lefant M2 Pro, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Robot not turning on: Ensure the robot is fully charged and the power switch is in the "I" (ON) position.
  • Robot not connecting to Wi-Fi: Verify that your router is broadcasting a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. The M2 Pro does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. Ensure your phone is connected to the 2.4GHz network during setup.
  • Robot getting stuck frequently: Check for small obstacles, loose cables, or thick rugs that might be impeding its movement. Utilize the No-Go Zones feature in the app to restrict access to problematic areas.
  • Poor cleaning performance: Empty the dustbin, clean or replace filters, and clean the side and main brushes. Ensure the water tank is filled for mopping.
  • Robot not returning to charging station: Ensure the charging station is properly plugged in and placed in an open area. Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the station.
  • No instructions included: This manual serves as a comprehensive guide. For further assistance, refer to the Lefant App or contact customer support.

For more complex issues, please consult the Lefant App's help section or contact Lefant customer support.

User Tips

  • Pre-clean for best results: Before running the robot, pick up any large debris, toys, or loose cables to prevent tangling and ensure efficient cleaning.
  • Regular filter checks: Users often find that regularly checking and cleaning the filters significantly improves suction power and overall performance.
  • Optimize mopping: Adjust the water flow level in the app based on the type of floor and the level of dirt for optimal mopping results.
  • Utilize mapping features: Take advantage of the multi-level mapping and No-Go Zone features to customize cleaning routines for different areas and floors in your home.
