5. Setup

Power Connection:

  1. Ensure the welding machine is turned off.
  2. Connect the power cable to a suitable 100V or 220V power outlet. Use the provided 110V→220V adapter if necessary.
  3. Verify the power supply matches the machine's requirements to prevent damage.

Wire Spool Installation (MIG/Flux Core):

  1. Open the side panel of the welding machine.
  2. Place the wire spool onto the spool holder. The machine is compatible with 1LB-10LBS wire spools.
  3. Thread the welding wire through the wire feeder mechanism. Ensure the wire is properly seated in the drive roller groove.
  4. Close the side panel.

Accessory Connection:

  • Ground Clamp: Connect the ground clamp cable to the appropriate terminal on the machine. Attach the clamp securely to the workpiece, ensuring good electrical contact.
  • MIG Torch: Connect the MIG torch to the front panel connector. For Gas MIG, connect the gas hose from your gas cylinder (not included) to the machine's gas inlet and secure with hose bands.
  • Electrode Holder (MMA): For MMA welding, connect the electrode holder cable to the positive (+) terminal and the ground clamp to the negative (-) terminal.
  • TIG Torch (Lift TIG): For Lift TIG welding, connect the TIG torch (not included) to the appropriate terminal.

6. Operating Instructions

Basic Operation Steps:

  1. Power On: Turn on the welding machine using the main power switch.
  2. Select Welding Mode: Short press button 'E' (Welding Modes) to cycle through MIG 2T, MIG 4T, MMA, or LIFT TIG.
  3. Select Wire Diameter (MIG): Short press the 'Inch' button to choose the appropriate wire diameter.
  4. Select Gas Type (Gas MIG): In Gas MIG mode, short press button 'C' (Gas Choosing) to select CO2 or MIX gas. For Flux MIG, select 'Flux'.
  5. Adjust Parameters: Use the 'Voltage Adj. Knob' (F) and 'Current Adj. Knob' (G) to set the desired welding voltage and current. Refer to the welding parameter table in the Specifications section for guidance.
  6. Synergistic Control (Optional): Press button 'D' (Synergy) to activate synergistic control, which automatically optimizes welding parameters based on your selected mode and wire.
  7. Manual Wire Feed (MIG): Press button 'B' (Manual Wire Feed) to feed wire manually before starting to weld.
  8. Begin Welding: Ensure all safety gear is worn. Position the torch/electrode and initiate the arc according to the selected welding process.
