Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the controls and display before riding.
Control Panel and Display
The handlebar-mounted display provides real-time metrics and allows control over various functions.

- Power ON/OFF: Press and hold the power button to turn the system on or off.
- Real-time Speed: Displays your current speed.
- Battery Level: Indicates the remaining battery charge.
- Driving Distance: Shows the distance traveled.
- PAS Level: Pedal Assist System level. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the assist level (typically 0-5). Level 0 is no assist, higher levels provide more motor power.
- Light ON/OFF: Press the light button to toggle the front and rear lights.
- Walk Assist: Press and hold the '-' button for walk assist mode, which provides low-speed motor assistance for pushing the bike.
Riding Modes
- Pedal Assist Mode (PAS): The motor provides assistance as you pedal. Adjust the PAS level for more or less assistance.
- Full Electric Mode (Throttle): Use the throttle (if equipped and legal in your region) to propel the bike without pedaling.
- Manual Mode: Ride the bike like a traditional bicycle without any motor assistance.
Braking
The F20+Pro is equipped with 160mm disc brakes for responsive stopping power. The brake levers also integrate a power-off function, cutting motor power when applied, and a handle bell.

Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your FAFREES F20+Pro electric bike.
General Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe down the bike with a damp cloth. Avoid high-pressure washing directly on electrical components.
- Lubrication: Regularly lubricate the chain and other moving parts with appropriate bicycle lubricant.
- Fasteners: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and quick-release levers to ensure they are tight and secure.
Battery Care
- Charge the battery regularly, even if not in use, to maintain its health.
- Avoid completely draining the battery.
- Store the battery in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Use only the original charger provided with the bike.
Tires and Brakes
- Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure before each ride. The 20"x3.0" fat tires are puncture-resistant, but proper inflation is crucial for performance and safety.
- Brake Check: Ensure brake levers are firm and responsive. Inspect brake pads for wear and replace if necessary.
- Suspension: The front suspension features a lockout function. Ensure it operates smoothly.
