Setup

Unpacking and Initial Placement

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all accessories listed in the 'Product Configuration List' are present.
  2. Place the charging station against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter to the sides and 2 meters in front of it. Connect the power adapter to the charging station and plug it into a power outlet.
  3. Remove any protective films or stickers from the robot vacuum cleaner.

Charging the Robot

Before first use, fully charge the robot. Place the robot onto the charging station, ensuring the charging contacts align. The indicator lights on the robot will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.

Installing Side Brushes and Main Brush

  1. Turn the robot upside down.
  2. Snap the side brushes into their designated slots (L for left, R for right).
  3. Ensure the main V-shaped roller brush is securely installed in its compartment.

Water Tank and Dustbin Installation

  1. Open the robot's top cover to access the dustbin compartment.
  2. For dry sweeping, ensure the dustbin with double filters is correctly inserted.
  3. For wet mopping, fill the 450ml water tank with clean water. Attach the mop cloth to the water tank bracket and then slide the assembly into the robot.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button on the robot for a few seconds to turn it on or off. The robot will emit a voice prompt.

Starting a Cleaning Cycle

  1. Manual Start: Press the clean button on the robot once to start an automatic cleaning cycle.
  2. App Control: Download the Liectroux app. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot. From the app, you can start/stop cleaning, select cleaning modes, set schedules, and define virtual blockers.

Cleaning Modes

The ZK901 offers various cleaning modes, selectable via the app:

  • Auto Cleaning: The robot intelligently plans a zigzag route for comprehensive coverage.
  • Spot Cleaning: Focuses on a specific dirty area.
  • Edge Cleaning: Cleans along walls and furniture edges.
  • Scheduled Cleaning: Set specific times for the robot to clean automatically.

Mapping and Navigation

The robot uses 360° laser radar and SLAM algorithm to create real-time maps of your home. This allows for efficient route planning, obstacle avoidance, and features like:

  • Map Partition: Divide your home into different areas and customize cleaning order.
  • Virtual Blocker: Define areas the robot should avoid (e.g., children's play areas).
  • Breakpoint Continuous Cleaning: If the battery runs low during a cycle, the robot returns to the charging station and resumes cleaning from where it left off once recharged.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures your Liectroux ZK901 operates efficiently.

Dustbin and Filter Cleaning

  1. Press the dustbin release button and remove the dustbin.
  2. Empty the dustbin contents into a trash can.
  3. Remove the primary filter and HEPA filter. Tap them gently to remove dust. Rinse the primary filter and dustbin with water if necessary, but ensure they are completely dry before reinstallation. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water.
  4. Reinstall the filters and dustbin.

Main Brush and Side Brush Cleaning

  1. Remove the main brush cover and lift out the V-shaped roller brush. Use the cleaning tool (if provided) to cut and remove any tangled hair or debris.
  2. Pull off the side brushes. Remove any hair or debris.
  3. Reinstall all brushes securely.

Sensor and Charging Contact Cleaning

Wipe all sensors (including cliff sensors, anti-collision sensors, and lidar sensor) and charging contacts on both the robot and the charging station with a clean, dry cloth. This prevents cleaning errors and ensures proper charging.
