1. Setup

1.2 Charging the Printer

Before first use, fully charge the printer using the provided USB cable. Connect the cable to the charging port on the side of the printer and to a standard USB power adapter (not included).

1.3 Installing the Label Roll

  1. Gently open the top cover of the printer.
  2. Insert the label roll into the compartment, ensuring the printing side of the labels faces upwards and the roll is aligned with the guides.
  3. Pull a small section of the label paper out through the printing slot.
  4. Close the top cover firmly until it clicks into place.

1.4 App Installation and Bluetooth Connection

  1. Download the official Marklife app from your smartphone's app store (iOS or Android).
  2. Turn on the printer by pressing and holding the power button until the indicator light illuminates.
  3. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  4. Open the Marklife app and follow the on-screen instructions to search for and connect to your X2 Mini Printer. The printer will typically appear as "Marklife X2" or a similar name.

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Creating and Editing Labels

The Marklife app provides a user-friendly interface for designing your labels:

  • Text: Add custom text, choose fonts, sizes, and styles.
  • Barcode/QR Code: Generate and print barcodes or QR codes for various applications.
  • Table: Create simple tables for organized information.
  • Icon/Image: Insert pre-loaded icons or upload your own images to personalize labels.

2.2 Printing Labels

  1. After designing your label in the app, tap the "Print" button.

  3. The printer will automatically feed and print the label.

2.3 Supported Label Types

3. Maintenance

3.1 Cleaning the Print Head

To ensure optimal print quality, regularly clean the thermal print head. Use a soft, lint-free cloth lightly dampened with isopropyl alcohol. Gently wipe the print head surface. Allow it to dry completely before closing the cover or printing.

3.2 Cleaning the Rollers

If labels are not feeding smoothly, clean the rubber rollers inside the printer. Use a soft, lint-free cloth dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol to wipe away any dust or adhesive residue.

3.3 Battery Care

  • Charge the printer regularly, even if not in frequent use, to maintain battery health.
  • Avoid exposing the printer to extreme temperatures.
  • If the printer will not be used for an extended period, charge it to about 50% before storing.
