1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the PRITOM TAB 11 10.1 Inch Android Tablet. This device combines the versatility of a tablet with the productivity of a laptop, featuring an Android 15 operating system, an octa-core processor, and ample storage. This manual will guide you through the essential steps to get the most out of your new tablet.

3. Product Overview

3.1 Tablet Components

Familiarize yourself with the tablet's physical features:

  • Micro SD Card Slot: For expanding storage up to 1TB.
  • Headphone Jack: 3.5mm port for audio output.
  • Power Switch: To turn the tablet on/off or put it to sleep.
  • Volume + Key: Increases audio volume.
  • Reset button: A small pinhole button for force restarting the device.
  • Type-C Port: For charging and data transfer.
  • Volume - Key: Decreases audio volume.
  • Speaker: For audio output.
  • Front Camera: 2MP camera for video calls and selfies.
  • Rear Camera: 8MP camera for photos and videos.

4. Setup Instructions

4.1 Charging the Tablet

  1. Connect the included Type-C cable to the tablet's Type-C port.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into a compatible USB power adapter (not always included) and then into a wall outlet.
  3. The tablet will display a charging indicator. Allow at least 30 minutes of charging before initial use if the battery is completely drained.

4.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power Switch until the PRITOM logo appears.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power Switch until a power-off menu appears, then select "Power off".
  • To Sleep/Wake: Briefly press the Power Switch to put the tablet to sleep or wake it up.

4.3 Initial Setup

Upon first power-on, follow the on-screen prompts to:

  • Select your language.
  • Connect to a Wi-Fi network.
  • Set up your Google account (required for Google Play Store access).
  • Configure date, time, and other basic settings.

4.4 Inserting a Micro SD Card

  1. Locate the Micro SD Card Slot on the side of the tablet.
  2. Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, push the card in slightly until it springs out.

4.5 Connecting Accessories (Keyboard, Mouse, Stylus)

The included keyboard and mouse connect via Bluetooth. The stylus is typically passive and does not require pairing.

  1. Enable Bluetooth: Go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth and turn it on.
  2. Pair Keyboard/Mouse: Put the keyboard/mouse into pairing mode (refer to their individual manuals if needed). On your tablet, tap "Pair new device" and select the keyboard/mouse from the list of available devices. Follow any on-screen prompts to complete pairing.
  3. Stylus: The stylus is ready for use directly on the screen.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Navigation

  • Touch Screen: Tap, swipe, pinch-to-zoom, and long-press to interact with the interface.
  • Home Screen: Access your apps, widgets, and notifications.
  • Navigation Bar: Use the Back, Home, and Recent Apps buttons at the bottom of the screen.

5.2 Wi-Fi Connectivity

The tablet supports 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi for fast internet access.

  1. Go to Settings > Network & internet > Wi-Fi.
  2. Turn Wi-Fi on.
  3. Select your desired network from the list and enter the password if prompted.

5.3 Using the Cameras

The tablet features a 2MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera.

  1. Open the Camera app.
  2. Tap the camera icon to switch between front and rear cameras.
  3. Tap the shutter button to take a photo or start/stop video recording.

5.4 Storage Management

The tablet comes with 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 1TB via a Micro SD card.

  • To check storage: Go to Settings > Storage.
  • To free up space: Uninstall unused apps, delete unnecessary files, or move files to a Micro SD card.

5.5 Google Play Store

The tablet is GMS Certified, providing full access to the Google Play Store for downloading apps, games, movies, and more.

  1. Ensure you are logged into your Google account.
  2. Tap the Play Store icon on your home screen or app drawer.

6. Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning the Tablet

  • Use a soft, lint-free cloth to clean the screen and body of the tablet.
  • For stubborn smudges, slightly dampen the cloth with water or a screen cleaner.

6.2 Battery Care

  • Avoid completely draining the battery frequently.
  • Charge the tablet regularly, but avoid leaving it plugged in for excessively long periods after it's fully charged.
  • Store the tablet in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.

6.3 Software Updates

Periodically check for system updates to ensure optimal performance and security.

  1. Go to Settings > System > System update.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to download and install any available updates.

7. Troubleshooting

Q1: The tablet doesn't power on.

  • Recharge your tablet after charging for 30 minutes.
  • If your tablet is in Sleep Mode, press the Power button to wake it up.
  • If your tablet is still in Sleep Mode, press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to restart it.
  • Press the Reset button with a pin to reboot the tablet.

Q2: The tablet doesn't charge.

  • Make sure the charger is properly plugged into the charging port.
  • Try a different charger or charging cable.

Q3: Error message occurs during the operation.

  • Uninstall the application that caused the error, then download and install it again.
  • Press the Reset button with a pin to reboot the tablet.

Q4: The tablet cannot be detected by the computer.

  • Make sure the tablet is connected to the computer.
  • Try a different USB cable.
  • Try another USB port on the computer.
  • On your tablet, select 'Media device (MTP)' or 'Transfer files' to transfer files (PTP).

Q5: The tablet cannot connect to the Wi-Fi.

  • Make sure the Wi-Fi is turned on in the tablet.
  • Make sure you are within range of a Wi-Fi network and know the Wi-Fi password.
  • Make sure there is no error in the setting or Wi-Fi connection limitation in the setting.
  • Restart the Wi-Fi router.
  • Forget the current Wi-Fi, scan for the router and connect the Wi-Fi again.

Q6: The storage space of the tablet is not enough.

  • Delete the apps/data you don't use.
  • Clear the cache of the apps you frequently use.
  • Install an TF or SD card to expand the storage.
