6.4 General Installation Steps
- Prepare the door: Ensure the door is clean and the existing mortise cutout matches the new lock's requirements. If replacing an old lock, you may need to adjust the cutout.
- Install the mortise: Insert the chosen mortise into the door edge and secure it with screws.
- Install the front panel: Route the cables through the door and attach the front panel.
- Install the rear panel: Connect the cables to the rear panel and secure it to the door.

- APP Unlock: Use the Tuya Smart App on your smartphone to remotely unlock the door.
- 3D Face Unlock: The lock's HD binocular camera and AI face recognition algorithm automatically capture and recognize face information for fast (0.3 seconds) and accurate (99.9% correct recognition rate) identification.
- Fingerprint Unlock: Place your registered finger on the semiconductor biological fingerprint reader for sensitive and fast recognition (0.5 seconds, <0.001% false recognition rate).
- PIN Code: Enter your programmed numerical password on the touch keypad.
- IC Card: Tap your registered IC card on the card reader.
- Mechanical Key: In case of emergency or power loss, use the physical mechanical key to unlock the door via the cylinder hole.
