Setup Guide
- Download the APP: Connect your mobile phone to a Wi-Fi or mobile network. Scan the QR code provided in the product packaging or search for the "Translator" APP in your phone's app store.
- Install and Configure: Follow the on-screen instructions to install the application. Grant necessary permissions (e.g., microphone, camera, network access) when prompted.
- Power On the Translator: Press and hold the power button on the translator to turn it on.
- Bluetooth Connection: Open the "Translator" APP on your phone. The app will automatically scan for and find the "Translator" device. Select it to establish a Bluetooth connection. The device supports Bluetooth 5.0.
- Network Requirement: Ensure your mobile phone maintains a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data) for the translation functions to work correctly.
Operating Instructions
1. Voice Translation (Two-Way Real-Time)
This feature allows for instant, two-way voice communication. The translator supports 42+ languages.
- In the APP, select the source and target languages from the menu bar.
- Press and hold button A on the translator to speak.
- Release button A after you finish speaking. The APP will display the recognized text and play the translation in the target language.
- For the other person to speak, they would use button B (or the corresponding button for their language setting).
2. Photo Translation
Translate text from images using your phone's camera.
- Open the mobile APP.
- Click on the camera icon (usually in the upper right corner) to access the photo translation feature.
- Use your phone to take a photo of the text you wish to translate.
- Use the language setting icon (in the lower right corner for Android, upper right for iOS album images) to switch languages.
- The APP will identify the text and provide the translation.
*Note: The Android APP does not support translating from album images; it requires real-time photo capture.*
3. Text Input Translation
Translate written text by typing or pasting it into the app.
- In the APP, click the keyboard icon (next to the microphone icon) to enter the text input box interface.
- Type or paste the text you want to translate.
- Select the source and target languages.
- Click "Finish" to translate. The translated text can then be copied.
4. Recording Translation
The device can function as a recording pen, converting spoken words into text and then translating them.
- Activate the recording function within the APP.
- Speak clearly into the translator's microphone.
- After recording, the APP will recognize the speech, convert it to text, and then translate it into your selected target language.
5. Remote Session Translation
Engage in long-distance communication with another T4 translator user.
- In the mobile app, click the symbol in the upper right corner.
- Select "session translation".
- Enter the connection code of the other party.
- Once the dialing is successful, the session translation can begin.
- Set your language (e.g., Chinese) and the other party's language (e.g., English). When you speak Chinese, the other party's mobile phone app will display and play the English translation, and vice versa.
*Note: This function requires at least two T4 translation devices.*
Maintenance
- Keep the device dry and away from extreme temperatures.
- Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosols.
- Avoid dropping the device or subjecting it to strong impacts.
- Store the device in a safe place when not in use.
Troubleshooting
- Problem: Translation is delayed or not working.

- Solution: When using the Bluetooth translation function, wait for the prompt tone before speaking, and release the button only after you have finished your complete sentence. Speak clearly and at a moderate pace. Check the text displayed on the APP screen to verify if the recognition result is accurate.
- Problem: Cannot connect to Bluetooth.
- Solution: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the translator is powered on. Restart both devices. If the issue persists, it might be a compatibility issue; contact customer support.
