5. Safety Information

7. Operating Instructions

7.2. Battery Diagnostics (Standard Test)
To perform a standard battery test:
- From the main menu, select "Standard Test" or "Battery Diagnostics".
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select the battery type (e.g., Normal battery, AGM Flat Plate, AGM Spiral, GEL, EFB).
- Select the input standard (e.g., CCA, JIS, GB, SAE, MCA, CA, DIN, IEC, EN, BCI).
- Input the corresponding CCA rating of your battery.
- Press "OK" to start analyzing the data.
- The device will display detailed data such as Battery Life (SOH), Voltage, Input Rating, CCA, Impedance, and Power.

7.3. Start Test
The Start Test evaluates the vehicle's starting performance:
- From the main menu, select "Start Test".
- Follow the on-screen prompts: Turn off the engine. If necessary, turn on the lights for 2 minutes to discharge the battery slightly, then turn them off.
- The tester will prompt you to "Start Engine".
- Start the engine and wait for the tester to collect data.
- The device will display waveform data and analyze the current starting performance of the battery, indicating if it's normal or abnormal.
7.4. Charge Test
The Charge Test checks the vehicle's charging system (alternator):
- From the main menu, select "Charge Test".
- Follow the on-screen prompts: Turn on the full vehicle load (e.g., headlights, AC) and increase the engine speed to 2000-2500 RPM.
