5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Basic Shutter Release

The remote functions like your camera's shutter button:

  • Half-press: Press the release button halfway down to activate autofocus.
  • Full-press: Press the release button completely down to trigger the camera shutter.

5.2 LCD Backlight and Screen Lock

  • Backlight: Short press the 'Lighting/Lock' button to illuminate the LCD screen for better visibility in low light conditions.
