4. Setup & Installation

4.1 General Wiring Diagram

Suitable for wooden and metal doors. Requires an L bracket if the door is flat or the gap to the door frame is less than 3cm.

4.3 Power Supply Time Delay Adjustment

The power supply unit features an adjustable time delay for the lock. This controls how long the door remains unlocked after a valid access event.

5. Operating Instructions

The access controller supports multiple methods for unlocking the door.

5.1 Unlocking Methods

  • RFID Card Unlocking: Open with a swipe of a registered RFID card.
  • Password Unlocking: Input a 4-6 digit user password on the keypad.
  • Card + PIN Unlocking: Swipe a registered RFID card and then input a password for higher security.
  • Mobile NFC Unlocking: Open with a swipe using a compatible mobile phone with NFC enabled.

5.2 Programming Management Cards (Add/Delete Cards)

The system allows for easy programming of RFID cards directly from the keypad, without needing a computer. You can set management cards to simplify adding or deleting user cards.

5.3 Mobile NFC Unlocking Setup (Android Example)

To use Mobile NFC unlocking, ensure your phone has NFC enabled and follow these steps (example for Android):

  1. Open your phone's 'Wallet' APP.
  2. Navigate to 'Keys'.
  3. Select 'ADD KEY'.
  4. Choose 'Access card'.
  5. Select 'Copy your card'.
  6. Enable NFC on your phone and place the bottom half of the access card against the back of your phone.
  7. Wait for the card to be read successfully.
  8. Once added, you can unlock by swiping your phone near the access controller.

Note: This instruction is for Android. For iOS systems, you may need to add a bank card first to enable access card functionality.

5.4 Setting Normally Open Mode

For areas with frequent entry and exit, the access controller can be set to a 'Normally Open' mode, allowing the door to remain unlocked for extended periods.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the keypad and other components with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.

    - Check all power connections from the main power source to the power supply unit and the access controller.
    - Ensure the input voltage matches the power supply's requirements.
  • Door Not Unlocking:
    - Verify that the correct RFID card or password is being used.
    - Check the wiring to the electric lock and ensure it is correctly connected (NC/NO mode).
    - Ensure the power supply is providing adequate power to the lock.
    - Check the door opening time delay setting on the power supply.
  • RFID Card Not Reading:
    - Ensure the card is correctly registered in the system.
    - Hold the card within the specified reading distance (0-5cm) of the keypad.
    - Check for any interference near the keypad.
  • Keypad Not Responding:
    - Check power to the keypad.
    - Ensure the keypad is securely mounted and connections are firm.
  • NFC Unlocking Not Working:
    - Ensure NFC is enabled on your mobile phone.
    - Verify that the access card is correctly added to your phone's wallet/keys app.
    - Position the phone correctly over the NFC reading area of the keypad.
  • Intermittent Operation:
    - Inspect all wiring for loose connections or damage.
    - Ensure the power supply is stable and not experiencing fluctuations.
