1. Product Overview

The SANSUI F63 is a versatile multimedia portable wireless Bluetooth speaker designed for high-fidelity audio playback. It features multiple playback modes including Bluetooth, TF card, U disk, and FM radio. Additionally, it supports hands-free calling and one-click recording functionality, making it an ideal companion for various audio needs.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Battery Installation and Charging

The SANSUI F63 speaker uses two removable 18650 lithium batteries. Ensure they are correctly installed before first use.

  1. Locate the battery compartment cover on the side of the speaker.
  2. Open the cover and insert the two 18650 batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
  4. Connect the speaker to a DC 5V/1A power source using the provided USB charging cable. The charging indicator will illuminate.
  5. Allow approximately 5-6 hours for a full charge. The indicator will change or turn off once charging is complete.

3.2 Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the power button (U) for a few seconds until the display lights up.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the power button (U) again for a few seconds until the display turns off.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Bluetooth Pairing and Playback

  1. Power on the speaker. It will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon on the display.
  2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  3. Select "SANSUI F63" from the list of devices.
  4. Once paired, the speaker will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth icon will stop flashing.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

4.2 TF Card / U Disk Playback

The speaker supports playing audio files directly from a TF (MicroSD) card or a USB flash drive (U disk).

  1. Insert a TF card into the TF card slot or a USB flash drive into the USB port on the side of the speaker.
  2. The speaker will automatically detect the storage device and begin playing audio files. If not, press the 'M' (Mode) button to switch to TF card or U disk mode.
  3. Use the playback control buttons (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track) to manage your music.

4.3 FM Radio Operation

  1. Press the 'M' (Mode) button repeatedly until you enter FM Radio mode.
  2. Press and hold the Play/Pause button to initiate an automatic scan for available FM stations. The speaker will save detected stations.
  3. Use the Next/Previous Track buttons to navigate between saved FM stations.

4.4 Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone, the speaker can be used for hands-free calls.

  • Answer/End Call: Short press the call button (usually the Play/Pause button or a dedicated phone icon button) to answer an incoming call or end an ongoing call.
  • Reject Call: Long press the call button to reject an incoming call.
  • Redial: Double-click the call button to redial the last number.

4.5 Recording Function

The speaker allows for one-click recording when in USB or TF card music playback mode.

  1. Ensure a TF card or USB flash drive is inserted and the speaker is in the corresponding playback mode.
  2. Long press the dedicated recording button (often marked with a microphone icon) to start recording.
  3. During recording, press the recording button again to stop and save the recording.
  4. To play back a recording, short press the recording button.

4.6 AUX Input

Connect external audio devices using a 3.5mm AUX cable (not included).

  1. Connect one end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the AUX port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device.
  3. Press the 'M' (Mode) button to switch to AUX mode.
  4. Play audio from your external device.

4.7 Digital Song Requesting

The speaker features a numbered keypad for direct song selection when playing from TF card or U disk. Simply enter the track number and press the appropriate confirmation key (if available) to jump to that song.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Cleaning

  • Wipe the speaker with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, alcohol, or chemical solvents, as these may damage the surface.
  • Keep the speaker free from dust and debris, especially around the ports and speaker grille.

5.2 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, fully charge the speaker before first use and at least once every three months if not used regularly.
  • Avoid exposing the speaker to extreme temperatures, as this can degrade battery performance.
  • If the batteries are removable, ensure they are genuine 18650 lithium-ion batteries and replace them with identical specifications if needed.

6. Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Speaker does not power on. Low battery or no battery installed. Charge the speaker fully. Ensure batteries are correctly installed.
No sound. Volume too low; incorrect mode; device not connected. Increase speaker and source device volume. Ensure correct playback mode (Bluetooth, TF, USB, AUX). Re-pair Bluetooth device.
Bluetooth pairing fails. Speaker not in pairing mode; device too far; interference. Ensure speaker is in Bluetooth mode and flashing. Move devices closer. Turn off other Bluetooth devices.
Recording not working. No TF card/U disk; insufficient storage; incorrect mode. Insert a TF card or U disk. Ensure sufficient free space. Confirm speaker is in TF/U disk playback mode before recording.
FM radio poor reception. Weak signal. Move to an open area or adjust the speaker's position for better signal reception.
