- Serious Fault: The red indicator stays on continuously, and AC output is disabled. The product needs to be shut down and restarted to reset the fault.
- Output Power: The green indicators show the output power. As the power decreases, the indicators gradually go out from right to left.
- Upgrading: The 3rd and 4th indicators light up.
- Battery 0%: The red LED flashes for 10 seconds, after which the system automatically shuts down.
3. AC Output Port (220V, 50Hz)
This port supplies 220V AC power for devices such as TVs, fans, desk lamps, laptops, and mobile phone chargers. Before connecting a device, ensure its rated power does not exceed 250W.
4. AC Input Port (220V, 50Hz)
Use this port to charge the power station from your local grid. It supports 220V-240V AC input.
5. PV Input Port (12-36V, 200W)
This port allows charging from solar panels. It can handle solar input ranging from 12-36V with a maximum power of 200W. You can connect two 100W solar panels in parallel or series, or a single 200W solar panel.
6. Ventilation Holes
The ventilation holes are crucial for preventing the product from overheating. Ensure they are not blocked during operation.
Setup and Charging
The FLOWATT FLW-PT250W offers flexible charging options to suit your needs.
Charging Methods

Image Description: Diagram illustrating the connection points for AC charging (left) and solar panel charging via an XT90 connector (right) on the power station.
- AC Charging: Connect the provided AC charging plug to the AC input port on the power station and then to a wall outlet (220V-240V AC). If the power station is off, plugging in the AC charger will automatically initiate charging. The maximum AC charging power is 250W.
- Solar Charging: Connect your solar panel(s) to the PV input port using an XT90 adapter cable. The power station supports solar input from 12-36V, up to 200W. For optimal charging, ensure sufficient sunlight. A 200W solar panel can fully charge the device in approximately 5 hours under ideal conditions.
Important Notes for Solar Charging:
- If using solar panels other than those specifically designed for Yixing, carefully read the solar panel user manual to ensure the solar panel voltage does not exceed 36V. Exceeding this voltage will trigger protection and may damage the product. Hithium is not liable for damage caused by the use of non-Yixing solar panels or improper connection.
- The product operates in PV priority mode. When both mains electricity and photovoltaic power are connected simultaneously, PV power takes priority for charging.
- Upon startup, the product defaults to PV priority mode. If solar power generation is too low (below 60W), it will automatically switch to grid power input for charging. During mains charging, the PV charging power is checked at regular intervals. If PV power generation exceeds 60W, it will switch back to PV charging; otherwise, it will continue to charge from grid power until the battery is full.
Operating Instructions
Once your power station is charged, you can begin powering your devices.

Image Description: A simplified diagram illustrating how the power station receives input from solar panels or utility power and then supplies power to various household appliances (light, laptop, refrigerator, fan).
- Powering On: Press and hold the On/Off button for 1.5 seconds. The status indicators will illuminate, and the AC output will be active.
- Connecting Devices: Plug your electronic devices into the appropriate AC output port. Ensure the device's power consumption does not exceed 250W.
- Monitoring Battery and Output: Observe the status indicators to check the current battery level and output power.
- Powering Off: Press and hold the On/Off button for 1.5 seconds to turn off the power station and disable AC output.
Emergency Power Supply (EPS) Function
The power station can provide backup power. Connect the AC charging cable to the main grid for charging, and connect your electrical devices to the AC output port.
- Normal Operation: When grid power is available, electrical devices are powered directly by the grid through an internal bypass, without using the battery.
- Grid Outage: In the event of a grid power outage or load shedding, the product automatically switches to battery power within 20ms. This ensures devices like fans and televisions continue to operate smoothly.
- Grid Restored: When grid power is restored, the system seamlessly switches back from battery power supply to grid power supply.
Important EPS Disclaimer:
This is an EPS function and does not regulate grid waveform. The battery stops outputting power when grid power is available. The switching time is approximately 20ms, typically used for emergency backup power. This function is not a professional-grade UPS function and does not support 0ms switching. Please refrain from using it to supply power to servers, workstations, and other sensitive equipment. Hithium is not liable for any equipment malfunctions or data loss resulting from improper use.
Maintenance
- Keep the power station in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Ensure the ventilation holes are clear and unobstructed to prevent overheating.
- Clean the exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- For long-term storage, charge the unit to about 50-80% every 3-6 months to maintain battery health.
- Avoid exposing the unit to extreme temperatures or high humidity.
Troubleshooting
- Device not turning on: Ensure the On/Off button is pressed for 1.5 seconds. Check if the battery is completely drained (red LED flashing for 10s before auto shutdown).
- No AC output: If the red status indicator is continuously on, a serious fault has occurred. Turn off the system and restart it to reset the fault. Ensure connected devices do not exceed 250W.
- Slow or no charging: Check all cable connections for AC or solar charging. For solar charging, ensure sufficient sunlight and that solar panel voltage is within the 12-36V range. Verify the PV priority mode is functioning as expected (switches to grid if solar input is too low).
- Overheating: Ensure ventilation holes are not blocked. Move the unit to a cooler environment if necessary.
