3.3 Rear Interface Description and Wiring
Familiarize yourself with the rear connections of the unit:

- The yellow B+ line and the red ACC line must both receive 12V positive power for the unit to turn on normally.
- The yellow B+ line maintains power to retain memory functions.
- There are 8 speaker cables. Each speaker cable must not be grounded, shared, or touch other lines to prevent sound distortion and overheating.
3.4 Rear Camera Connection Method
This device supports CVBS cameras for reversing display. The camera is not included in the package.

- Identify the camera accessories: typically one camera, one power cord, and one video cable.
- Locate the reverse control line on the unit's power line (pink or brown). Connect this line to the positive 12V pole of the car's reverse light. This will trigger the screen to turn blue when reversing.
- Connect the CAME video input interface on the back of the unit.
- For the camera: connect the red socket to the camera's power cable. Insert the yellow video cable into the video input. The red wire of the camera's power cable and the video cable should be screwed together on the positive pole of the reverse lamp. The black wire of the camera's power cable is not used.
- Connect the other end of the video cable to the CAME video input interface on the back of the unit. The red line coming out of the video line is connected to the reversing signal.
Important: If a reversing camera is not installed, do not connect the REVERSE/BACK cable. Leave it unconnected. Connecting it will cause the machine to automatically enter reverse mode or display improperly. If this occurs, disconnect the REVERSE/BACK line as soon as possible.

6. Troubleshooting (FAQ)
Q: Why can't I use the wired mirror link function after using CarPlay/Android Auto?
A: When in PhoneLink mode, please ensure you select "Mirror" in the Auto Connect mode, not CarPlay or Auto.
Q: Why does CarPlay/Android Auto not connect?
A:
- Ensure the CarPlay/Android Auto function is enabled on your phone.
- Check that your phone's data cable is working properly. Try a different cable if necessary.
- Verify that the USB port on the car radio is functioning correctly. You can test this by plugging a USB disk into the port and checking if its contents can be read.
Q: USB flash disk cannot be played, or the card slot does not read the card?
A:
- USB flash disk: Format the USB flash disk to FAT32. Re-download one or two songs and try again. If it still doesn't work, replace the USB flash drive.
- SD card slot: Check whether the memory card is inserted correctly and if the plug is broken.
Q: No display of reversing video?
A:
- Ensure the camera cable is properly connected to the unit's head cable.
- This unit supports CVBS cameras. Please ensure that your camera is CVBS-compatible.
User Tips:
- Power Cycling: If the unit unexpectedly shuts off after a short drive and won't restart, it might be a power connection issue. Ensure the ACC (ignition switch) and B+ (constant power) wires are correctly connected and receiving stable power. Sometimes, a full power cycle (turning the car off and on) can resolve temporary glitches.
- Check Dimensions: Before purchasing, always verify the dimensions of your car's dashboard cavity. This unit is 7 inches, so ensure your car can accommodate this size.
- Included Cables: The multimedia center typically comes with Volkswagen-specific cables, which simplifies installation for compatible VW models.
