  • Eye and Skin Safety: Never point the light directly or indirectly at eyes or skin when it is on, as this may cause vision impairment or skin burns. Keep out of reach of children.
  • Heat Dissipation: The high mode generates heat at the flashlight head during prolonged use, which is normal. Use intermittently to preserve LED life.
  • Battery Safety: Use only the specified model of battery. Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different brands or types.
  • Laser Product: This is a Class Ilb/Class3B laser product. Handle with care and follow all safety guidelines.

4. Setup

Important: The insulation tab inside the new battery compartment MUST be removed before installing batteries.

  1. Open the Battery Compartment: Rotate the tail cap (or head) counterclockwise to unscrew it.
  2. Remove the Insulation Tab: Take out the batteries (if included), locate and remove the colored plastic insulation tab. This step is MANDATORY!
  3. Install Batteries Correctly: Check the polarity symbols inside the tube. Usually, the battery positive (+) end faces the head, and the negative (-) end faces the tail cap.
  4. Reassemble: After inserting batteries, align and screw the tail cap back on clockwise until snug (do not over-tighten).

6. Maintenance

  • Battery Care: Since lithium-ion batteries self-discharge, it is recommended that you remove the batteries if the flashlight will not be used for a long time, and charge the batteries at least once every 2-3 months.
  • Water Resistance: Ensure O-rings are clean and parts are tightly screwed for rated water resistance. Do not submerge non-diving lights deeply for long.
  • Cleaning: Clean the lens and body with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid corrosive chemicals.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1. No Light

  • Check if the insulation tab was removed during setup.
  • Ensure batteries are installed with correct polarity.
  • Replace batteries if they are exhausted.
  • Ensure all parts (head, body, tail cap) are tightened securely.

7.2. Dim or Flickering Light

  • Replace weak batteries with new ones.
  • Check the switch mechanism/circuit, or reinstall batteries.

7.3. Flashlight Won't Turn Off

  • Check the switch mechanism/circuit, or reinstall batteries.

7.4. Slight Glow from Tail

  • This is a characteristic of some electronic switch circuits and not a defect. Loosening the tail cap slightly may stop it.
