4. Setup and Assembly

Before first use, wash all removable parts (transparent lid, filter basket, pulp container, juice cup, food pusher) in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.

  1. Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.
  2. Position the pulp container onto the motor base, ensuring it fits snugly.
  3. Carefully insert the stainless steel filter basket into the motor base, making sure it is seated firmly.
  4. Place the transparent lid over the filter basket and pulp container, aligning the spout with the juice outlet.
  5. Lift the safety locking arm and secure it into the grooves on the transparent lid. The juicer will not operate unless the safety arm is locked.
  6. Place the juice cup under the juice spout. Ensure the anti-drip spout is in the open position if you wish to collect juice immediately.
  7. Insert the food pusher into the feed chute.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Preparing Fruits and Vegetables

  • Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
  • For most fruits and vegetables, the 3.2-inch wide feed chute allows for whole insertion, eliminating the need for pre-cutting.
  • Remove large seeds (e.g., peaches, plums) and hard pits.
  • Peel citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruits) as the peel can impart a bitter taste.

5.2 Juicing Process

  1. Ensure the juicer is properly assembled and the safety locking arm is secured.
  2. Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.
  3. Select the desired speed setting using the control switch on the motor base:
    • LOW Speed: Ideal for soft fruits and vegetables such as oranges, kiwi, grapes, berries, tomatoes, and cucumbers.
    • HIGH Speed: Recommended for harder fruits and vegetables like carrots, apples, celery, beets, and ginger.
  4. With the motor running, gradually feed the prepared fruits or vegetables into the feed chute. Use the food pusher gently to guide the produce down. Do not force it.
  5. The fresh juice will flow into the juice cup, and the pulp will collect in the pulp container.
  6. Once juicing is complete, switch the appliance to the 'OFF' position and unplug it from the power outlet.
  7. Use the anti-drip spout to prevent any remaining juice from dripping onto your counter.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your juicer and ensure optimal performance.

  1. Immediate Cleaning: For best results, clean the juicer immediately after each use. This prevents pulp and residue from drying and becoming difficult to remove.
  2. Disassembly: Unplug the juicer from the power outlet. Unlock the safety locking arm and carefully remove the transparent lid, filter basket, pulp container, and juice cup.
  3. Rinsing: Rinse all removable parts under running water.
  4. Washing: All removable parts are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended) or can be hand-washed with warm, soapy water. Use a non-abrasive brush to clean the filter basket thoroughly, as fine mesh can trap pulp.
  5. Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
  6. Drying and Storage: Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing the juicer. Store in a cool, dry place.

9. User Tips

  • Maximize Juice Yield: For best results, alternate between soft and hard ingredients when juicing. This helps to push through softer pulp and extract more juice.
  • Freshness is Key: Juice immediately after preparing fruits and vegetables to retain maximum nutrients and flavor.
  • Don't Overfill: Avoid overfilling the feed chute. Feed produce gradually for continuous juicing and to prevent clogging.
  • Quick Clean-up: Rinse all removable parts immediately after use. This prevents pulp from drying and sticking, making cleaning much easier.
